I have had my bolo for a year now!! It has not chipped or separated!! I got it for the lightness and compatability!! Works perfect and has a great forward swing! Perfect size and great value!

All the + reviews are accurate.The blade had been saturated in oil at the factory in Hu Flung Dung, China, so prepare to wipe the machete and case when it arrives.I guess it’s better than receiving a rusty item.

I've used this quite a bit. Taken way more abuse than my SOG and does much better. Takes an edge from a file very well. Reaponds nicely to stropping. Hold an edge well in the woods. The sheath is the main reason I cary this over my tramontinas.

Have used at least a dozen different brands and styles but, this is my new go-to machete. The size, shape and ergonomic handle make it so easy to use. My only dig is in the strength of blade. Needs sharpening after each use and does get some pretty good nicks. One machete will not last a lifetime so buy a few...but, well worth the price.

This machete is very sharp and has great balance, use for clearing small brush and trimming banana trees

If you have a simple camping sharpening stone this thing will take a finger off if your not careful

I wish the quality of material were better. The design is good, and I like it. However, it warped after cutting small branches of oak.
