Phydeaux’s Mountain Climbing Rope Dog Leash - 6 ft Long - Premium Quality - Perfect for Medium and Large Dogs (Blue)

The rope is thinner than I pictured it. But it doesn't matter. It's well made, has a little give so when my dog tries to take off it doesn't just jerk him back. It's really comfortable to hold and looks great! After some use it's held up good. My dog loves to pull and this leash is holding up great. I bought it to replace a ruff wear bungee leash and I prefer this one so much more. I had one incident where my dog shook his ears out and the leash came unclipped from his collar. Luckily I was able to get a hold of him. Would definitely reccommend. And definitely would buy again. For reference I have a 2yr old black lab/pit that is about 65lbs

I don’t usually write reviews, but this leash is such a winner that I wanted to congratulate the company for their outstanding product and give a heads-up to other dog lovers. Having used this leash for several months with our Schnauzer, who gets very excited about walks, I certainly give it the highest marks for comfort and durability, and it is so handsome that everyone comments on it, even his vet and groomer. I’ll never be without at least one of these leashes and wouldn’t have any other brand.Beauty and efficiency: a perfect combination !The company was excellent to work with, too. The rope leash I bought was for my 105lb Chocolate Lab that likes to pull on a leash. I read all the reviews and felt this was the best one. Well after two times using it, it already has a break in it. Not sure if I got a bad leash, or it's not as strong as it said it was.

There's a lot to like about this leash, and while not completely happy with it I'll continue to use it. The loop handle is fine, but not padded or gripped like some similar leashes. The loop just below the handle is convenient to clip keys, sanitizer, or a bag dispenser. Nice looking and seemingly pretty sturdy and well made. Got this to upgrade in length from our 4 foot leash, which was a different brand, similar style. The 4 foot was much sturdier, thicker, and heavier, which I liked. Hoped that this would be as heavy duty as described, but I was disappointed. It's quite light and slim, which is my biggest criticism. If that won't bother you, it's an otherwise fine leash.

Nice leash but the color isn’t even close to the picture. I ordered the light blue and yellow and it’s more dark blue and mustard. I still gave it 4 stars because it’s still a quality leash at a good price.

When I got it I thought it was a great leash very sturdy strong and look good as well it was until I realized that the handle is not connected to the Rope very well at all. The handle is the weakest point as you can see in the picture. The handle was literally stitched to the outside sheething of the Rope not the whole of the Rope. So i had to tie the rope to the handle with a knot. Very poorly made. Not worth the money.

Great customer service and very durable product, even with defect. I received this leash with a weird kink near the handle that always caused it to curve and lose ~1-2 in of length and look weird. After contacting and sending pictures to Phydeaux's, they refunded the purchase and let me keep the defective leash. A few months later, my pup chewed halfway through a 3 in part of the rope. A few months later, I am still able to use the leash comfortably, small kink and chewed part included, for my 55 lb pup on a daily basis. Once he is fully past his destructive phase (not particularly destructive, but we've lost a few pillows/a harness over the months), I will be buying a new leash from Phydeaux's to replace this one

It is a wonderful lightweight leash and at the same time, very durable. The leash is bit longer then the standard leash which is great for our black lab who likes to stretch the limits of the leash. I'm sold on your product and will be sure to share with other dog lovers.
