Diameter Size - 6.5 - 7.5mm Use with medium and large diameter straws in this range Squeegeeing is fun! How to Use: Simply put the thin end of the Straw Squeegee through your straw. Then, once its all the way through the straw, pull it out from that side (so that the flaps go through your straw, pulling the left over liquids with it). Hint: it helps to have on hand on the thin end pulling it through, and your other hand on the center of your straw to stabilize as you pull. (see image 3 above).

Warning! Too big for the common reusable straws I see in travel-type tumblers.
I am disappointed in this product. because it will not fit through my tumbler straws. It looks like such a good idea and the intended use is described as for medium and large reusable straws. I took that to include the size straw I see most commonly used in travel-type insulated tumblers. I know there are larger straws out there (like the kind for pearl drinks), but they don't fit the opening in the most commonly used tumblers.Anyhow, I was very excited about this product but it simply does not fit through those commonly used straws. I tried it dry and wet and it just doesn't fit. I tried squeezing the little rings to see if I could soften them, but no such luck. I even looked for a vid on You Tube to see if I was missing something in how to use it, but did not find one. I am hoping I am missing something and that someone will add a comment here, letting me know what I am doing wrong. That said, it is not rocket science, so my hopes are slim.I'm giving the item 3 stars rather than 1 simply because I am trusting that it will work well on those very large straws. It appears to be of decent quality, but the listing information, based on my experience, appears to be misleading.

Work great, but don't last long
I came across these while searching for brushes that were both long enough and the right diameter to clean our straws, and they looked even better. They work great. The only problem is that because they need to fit snugly inside the straw to be effective, it requires a bit of force to pull them through. That puts physical stress on them, and eventually they snap in two. I bought a two pack, and a little over four months later, they're both broken. Still, they're cheap enough to make them worth buying more. Would be nice if a sturdier material could be found that also had the other desirable properties like elasticity.

To short to be useful for my purposes
I purchased these straw cleaners for our theme park straws, since the cups are refillable all season and I’m always suspicious how clean they get when I can’t really get inside to scrub the straws. These did not help with my task at all as they are too short and too limp to go through the straw. If you were cleaning a standard straw, these may work well - I don’t know I have no regular straws to clean. If these were about 2-3 inches longer, they would be perfect. As they are, they’re now drawer decorations.

Be aware, do not pull too hard
Ugh....so this works. It squegees the inside of straws. But, it does not fit all straws. Smaller, children sippy cup straws to be exact. You have to push and fold the squegee to get it to fit. DO NOT PULL TOO HARD ON THEM. I repeat, DO NOT PULL TOO HARD. I pulled too hard and my purple one snapped. Im only needing these to clean out kids sippy cup straws. Probably not the best reuseable solution.

Too large
This is a really good idea and I was excited to find them. It would be 5 star if they fit my "medium to large" straws. Most of my straws are for coffee house reusable cups which are my medium straws. My large straws are from insulated tumblers and even they are too small for these squeegees .

I really like the squeegee
My husband gave me a Yeti tumbler, and it has a clear straw on it. I use it for cold coffee and green tea. The coffee rinses out really well, but the tea leaves particles behind. I ordered some straw brushes for it, and I saw the squeegees and also ordered that. I really like the squeegee. That was the package I opened up first and tried first, and I haven’t opened the regular brushes. What a smart tool :)

good cleaner; a bit tight
I really like the fact that this product has squeegee circles that ensure that nothing gets left in the straw. I gave it 4 stars because the squeegees are really tight and I have to pull very hard to get it through the straw. I though I was going to rip the squeegee in two pulling it so hard.

Great product
These straw cleaners are great for big straws. They are easy to use and strong so you can use them over and over again. They wash easier than bristle brushes. I use them to clean the big plastic straw I got with my dunkin donuts thermos cup. No harm to the environment, which is what happens with throw away plastic straws.
