Great game!
Bought this game for Halloween and my 5 years old can not stop playing it!It is a very easy and quick game about 5-10 minute, depending on how many players. Great thing about this game is, that cards are both sides, one side with pictures and the other side with letters, so it also educational and great for kids who are learning their phonics! We all love it!

This is a brilliant game
Both our 3 and 6 year old grandchildren ask to play it again and again . The youngest has just starting learning some of her letters and this game has really given her a boost. Both children really like choosing their spell and broom cards and trying to uncover the magic wand . The illustrations are beautifully done and really colourful. Highly recommend.

A great game for practising letter sounds.
This is a great fun game for 4/5 year olds learning letter sounds ,but lots of fun for the older children too as they love the magical theme. The illustrations are excellent and we particularly enjoyed the different witches on their broomsticks. and the spell books. The children needed help to learn the to play the game, but were soon playing it independently.

Amazing illustrations
To begin with, this game requires reading the instructions first. You won't be able just to 'jump in and play it by the ear'. This did put me off a bit and the reading needs to be done before you hand this game over to children as it will take a few minutes and within those few minutes quite a few of those cards can get misplaced and temporarily lost. So my advice is - come prepared. The game requires some basic knowledge of alphabet/phonics, and the most appropriate age group is probably Reception. The pictures are lovely. These are bright pastels with gentle lines and soothing drawings. This game is not an offence to senses and children with artistic inclination will love it. It can also be used without instructions, with just the cards for introduction to the letters. I do find it fiddly due to the instructions but it is a lovely game and will definitely come in handy for those younger players.

Makes learning fun
I think this is a really cool little game, it's great for kids learning phonics, it's often tricky to find something to have fun while learning but this is a fun little game that really does teach. In the box are 36 playing cards, 4 spell book folders, a dice and an ingredients card. Everything is printed well and looks great. The playing cards are of a decent quality, not the thickest but also not the thinnest I have come across. The aim of the game is to collect 5 ingredients from your spell book and a magic wand. It is a really fun little game but I would say the age range is a little on the optimistic side in the listing, a three year old I think would really struggle, I would say around the 5+ mark to really get the most from the game. It's a fun little learning game that's well made and will really appeal to kids with the fantasy theme, it's not easy to make learning fun and this game succeeds.

Fun for little ones
This is a lovely little game to play with your child if they are working on initial sounds and letter recognition. I like that it is still a game that older children can play with their younger siblings as the skill of recognising letters is not the only part of the game. You work to match letters to find the ingredients from your spell book as well as finding a magic wand. My 3 year old found the game a little tricky to understand at first. However, I feel she would enjoy it in a year’s time so perhaps the suggested age range of 3-5 years may be a little ambitious.I felt £12.95 was quite expensive for this game.

A great game for kids learning phonics
This is a game for children. In the box you get the cards you need for the game, a game dice, and instructions. The game itself is very easy, and we have played with children as young as 3 who have understood what to do.It's a good way to get the children thinking about phonics; basically you have to match the picture cards to the letters you have on your card. Sometimes it's hard to work out what the picture is meant to be, but it comes with the right word on the instructions. My daughter loves playing this, and loves winning!I like how it comes in a small box, making it portable and easy to tidy up.
