Seem tough, no idea if they're as strong as claimed. Don't plan on finding out.
Obviously you'd use certified weight rated shackles for lifting and heavy loads. These I use with snatch blocks and 3/8's cable or synthetic rope for vehicle recovery or logging. Not going near the limits in those applications so these work great and are cost effective.
