CaraselleVilene 2V950 3 m x 20 mm Extra-Strong Wundaweb, White

I bought 3 pairs of trousers that were superb, but apparently tailored for a giraffe. Since different leg lengths were not an option when I bought them, I needed to do something. I could have probably employed a needle and thread, but being lazy, I decided to try Wundaweb. I turned the trousers inside out and turned up the appropriate length of material, then ironed them to the new length. Next I inserted two strips of Wundarweb and ironed them for more than 10 seconds, as recommended. The result was brilliant and they have since been washed and the adhesive is still good. Oh deep joy!

Used to shorten a pair of Next jeans. I've always done my trouser shortening by hand or jeans by machine sewing (much to my wife's amusement!) but thought I'd give this a try. Very impressive results with this branded tape. There are alternative unbranded tapes that are longer but I decided to 'play safe'. There's enough provided for many pairs of trousers anyway. Just make sure you follow the instructions and you shouldn't go wrong.

I was a bit sceptical about how this would stick compared to sewing. I have used on 2 items so far , and appears to be quite strong time will tell after a few washes. On saying that it would be easy to turn items up again

I bought this to try and turn up a dress and was not sure if it would hold but it did! So impressed and so easy to apply. Make sure you place a damp cloth over as that really made a good job and made sure I didn't catch or singe the material. Great price and lots left over should I need to alter anything else.

Used to use this for taking up kids school trousers (many years ago) . Still highly rate it. Have used it to take up hems on two pairs of linen trousers from long to crop. Also for trousers that made into shorts. Did a great job when altered a long sleeve chiffon blouse to 3/4 sleeves. Hemmed a skirt. All garments washed and hems stayed intact !
