Will this work with the asus 970 pro motherboard?

The ASUS TPM-L works on ASUS motherboards that have a 20-pin TPM header and the ASUS TPM-M works on ASUS motherboards that have a 14-pin TPM header. They are both TPM 2.0. I have a 20-pin TPM header on my Sabertooth X99 and the TPM-L worked just great and (after enabling it in UEFI) it was recognized by Windows 10 without the need to install any 3rd party device drivers.

Answer: Per the user manual, p. 1-19, the Asus H81M-A motherboard features a TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM), and per the other answered questions, this is a 20-1 TPM. It worked in my Asus motherboard with a 20-1 connector and the 2.0 version is required for compatibility with Windows 10.

Yes, X99-A/USB 3.1 is compatible with ASUS 19-pin TPM module.
