Doesn't work

I bought several of kinds of fingerprint locks over the last year so I could stop carrying/worrying about keys. This lock has been the best one of of all of them, even ones that were much more expensive. I found that the lock that has the number panel on it is a lot more convenient (because of giving someone a "guest access" code) than just the fingerprint only kind as on some models the fingerprint reader doesn't work as well in inclement weather (maybe the water interferes with the reading?). The only con I could state is that there has no way to remove just one access code from the string if them entered without deleting the whole list. This is at most a minor inconvenience. The reader itself was astounding compared to most others. I've been using it for almost 6 months and only twice was it a little difficult to make it take the correct fingerprint (and it may have been my fault as I was doing a lot of hands on DIY work). The reader has an approx 1/2 second response time and never worked for an unauthorized print (though I've tried many times to get it to open with an incorrect print).I would highly recommend this model for light home use as you never have to worry about the door being locked after you leave or where you put your keys.Nicely done!

DO NOT BUY. This lock doesn’t work. Random fingerprints can unlock the door. Both my 4 year old and 9 year old fingerprints work and I did not program their fingerprints. My wife’s fingerprint I did program and it doesn’t work.

I'm not sure if it's a product design flaw or simply that I got the bad one of the batch, but the doorknob activates itself randomly throughout the day and as a result the battery drains extremely quickly. I got less than a month out of them and eventually just stopped replacing the battery/using the key.Other than that it does install easy, it does lock doors without need of a bolt, it does read fingerprints accurately. If you don't mind the need to replace the battery so often I actually do recommend the product.

Had to replace batteries multiple times, it would go crazy and go off by itself until the batteries died. would only recognize one finger print. It just sucked. I wish I would have just sent it back. This many bad reviews I should have listened.

Tried using it for bedroom doors. Battery dies really quickly, need to replace every 3 months with a set of 4 new batteries. Will make an annoying beeping sound until you fix it. Not worth the headache, it would be awesome if they worked well
