Best package deal
Bought this to replace a cheaper chuck I picked up long ago. Wish I would have just started with this one! It’s extremely well built and changing jaws is a breeze. Just make sure you put the correct number to the corresponding place on the chuck(which is clearly marked) and set up is quick and simple

4 jaw chuck
The big aluminum plates for turning the bottoms off of bowls is a little wobbly. It does work, but you do not want to rotate it at speeds above 1000.It takes a very light touch and there is a slight learning curve to make things work right

Tighten and re-tighten
Solid and heavy, overall seems to work well. Not overly impressed with how it tightens to the piece using the 2 stick handles. Frequently have to re-tighten, specially when rough turning. For the price and features would buy again.

Didn't hold up.
At first, I liked the product. Its features and benefits. But after using it I found that using it without a tailstock caused premature wear out of the scroll. I've had it apart three times to unjamb it from the jaws. First, I just reassembled it. Second, I used wax as a lube. Third, and last, was using heavy oil as a lube, but this is attracting dust. I fear I'll be doing it again. Unfortunately, the thin chrome peels off when removing the locking ring and made a serious cut hazard. Second thoughts.

Good for the money
The only thing I dislike about this chuck is the screw strip really easy looking to upgrade now just because the screws are all stripped..
