This product looks "great" buy that's about it. I love the features with this radio. However, here's my sweet honest truth. It's junk. It failed. I bought this March 2021 and I'm ready to drive a hammer thru this thing. First issue months ago was the screen cracked on its own!! I barely drive my jeep and hardly ever have anyone in it, so it wasn't a human that did it. Second, there's no real descriptive manual to help you troubleshoot things or just help answer some of your questions. The company did send me a new screen free of cost but the item is junk. My BIGGEST issue is that the steering controls do not work and out of no where at times the volume raises on its own to full blast. This has caused my kid and myself some painful hearing experiences. Because when this happens I have no use of my steering control so I almost have to brake immediately to view this screen to turn it off. The dash unit it comes with also is junk it doesn't fit right and I'm not messing with it so it fits. You spend money on something that's advertised it will fit then it should. If you buy this uour going to end up replacing it down the road. Just spend a little extra and get something reputable.

Overall the device is satisfying, it was not hard to install and it looks nice.I had a problem with the unit restarting randomly while being used, the issue was not caused by software and it took me a while before I excluded all the obvious reasons like overheating or settings.The support was very fast to respond to emails and trying to diagnose the problem, they sent me a replacement device that solved the problems.I mostly use it with a Google Fi sim card, listening to Spotify and navigating with Google Maps, it's convenient that Google Play Store is available.I don't use car play, it works but I don't need prefer it the native experience.No issues with performance (by Android standards).

IF YOUR LOOKING TO UPGRADE YOUR JK RADIO THIS IS A GOOD OPTION ITS A LITTLE PRICE'Y BUT WORTH THE MONEY .I GOT THIS UNIT FOR MY 2014 JK NOT KNOWING THAT THIS UNIT WAS FOR A JK BUT NOT MY 2014 THIS IS FOR 2015-UP BUT IT DID FIT MY JK THE ONLY PART I HAD TO MOD WAS THE PLASTIC DASH THE ONE THAT COME'S WITH THE UNIT DID NOT FIT MY JEEP SO I CUT THE RADIO PART OFF AND USED THAT TO REPLACE THE DASH PART AND IT WORKED GOOD IM GONA USE T MOLDING TO HIDE THE CUT BUT OTHER THEN THAT IM HAPPY WITH THE UNIT JUST READ THE ADD BEFORE YOU BUY AND MAKE SURE ITS THE SAME YEAR AS YOUR'S OR YOU WILL HAVE TO MOD .. Okay I confess I install ed this in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK) Freedom Edition. With a couple of DIY I was able to get it to fit.Also yes this is a tablet that is engineered to function as a media center for your Jeep.One challenge I had was with the wiring schema, however the seller was quick to address this request when I contacted them. This unit has a lot of features to learn and a manual that provides detailed a description of these feature would be excellent.I did request one from the seller and I did get a starters manual that focused on some of the get you started stuff like setting up your phone to connecting to the google play store. Unfortunately for some of the more indepth functions this manual comes up short in that area. There is a section in the settings called "Factory and System" that requires pin number to access it, which is found in the soft copy manual upon request. So far I am enjoying the radio however it is a life style change from a traditional radio with a lot of unknown features that you have to familiarize yourself before you get out on the road.

PROS: This unit was very easy to install. Looks fantastic and the sound quality is fine for us. The unit has wireless Car Play or wireless Android Auto. Its very responsive. Bluetooth is great as well. Customer service responds in about a day or so. They do send you a small user book. Overall very happy with the unit and the install. We will be buying another unit for our other jeep.Cons: If I was to pick anything that I think is bad would be the instructions or lack of. There were some scratches on the dash trim they sent.
