I recently made the switch from pads to disposable pants after several years of not-quite-good-enough coverage. It was a difficult transition, because no one wants to truly admit they have a problem with incontinence. I suffer from urinary urgency and pads were great for a long time. But my weakening bladder began putting the pads to the test, and I began experiencing unacceptable & uncomfortable leaks. I tried a major brand of underwear first and they weren't bad. But I found they were very irritating to my skin. The protection was awesome though! I felt SO much more secure than when wearing pads I knew I was on the right track. After researching everything available, I realized cost would def be a consideration. Disposable pants are more expensive than pads. So I figured it was a no brainer to give Amazon brand another try. They had provided me with a great quality pad for many years, at a very affordable price. So why not? I bought the XL as recommended by the chart and the fit is perfect. I like the construction. They feel soft, stretchy - but sturdy, and not like they are liable to fall apart at any moment. The material is just the right thickness. After you have them on for an hour or so, they just feel like underpants. The leg openings are somewhat high cut, but that's ok for me. I have always bought high cut panties, so once again - perfect. There is no obnoxious perfuming to these pants which I'm grateful for. I imagine that is what caused the burning skin irritation in the other brand. Still I'm not finding odor to be that much of a problem. It's only natural for urine to have odor. But it is absorbed and contained in such a way that the smell is minimal. I can't say I've tried every brand on the market. But I read plenty of reviews by folks who say they have - and still ended up buying Amazon. So I couldn't be better satisfied. Excellent product, great price, and I have the added security I need. Look I know it's hard to buy this kind of product. Nobody wants to feel like they are losing control of their life; and incontinence is exactly that, if anything is! But you really need to take this bull by the horns and manage it. There is never shame in caring for yourself and your personal dignity. Being in denial and walking around in wet clothes is 1000 times worse. You will get used to wearing these pants pretty fast, as I did. And chances are, you won't ever want to go back to life without them.

I decided to try the Basics Woman's Underware from Amazon. PERFECT FIT! I read the fit chart, chose the XL and it was that easy. It's as if these were tailor-made for me. It feels like I'm wearing regular Underware, They are smooth and unnoticeable under my clothes. When I sit or lay down everything stays in its place. Oh, and the money I'll save is a bonus! FINALLY an underwear I can Trust!

I use these for my mom. They are 100 times better than Depends. They absorb better and less leaks. They sit better on the body. They are tighter - without squeezing - the leg hip area which avoids leakage. Hint though - size down. My mom is between a medium and large. We went with the medium. We no longer buy Depends anymore. I would love for Amazon to make an overnight pair.

These are the best incontinence underware I have ever used. There have been several occasions when I could not get to a bathroom before my bladder released and there has never been any leakage. They are comfortable, not bulky at all and have never caused any irritation to my skin. I'm confident, especially when I leave the house, that there will be no leakage even if I have to wait to get somewhere I can change my underwear and only the underwear.

I am having to edit my previous review versus write a new one. The previous review was on the product a couple years ago, but I haven’t had to use them again until recently. The product has changed in that time and I can no longer give it five stars. Something weird is going on with the cotton/elastic. I am finding fuzzy’s all inside my britches. Anywhere these incontinence underwear have been touched , they leave fuzz threads all over the inside of my garments. A couple of them have ripped when I went to pull them up.. quality has definitely gone down…. So I got fed up with all the incontinence products available. I have tried every one of them. I’ve tried pads. I’ve tried briefs. I’ve tried all the brands. Poise, Always, Depends and Tena. I am not sure why they don’t absorb the urine as it’s coming out. I think these companies try using a “stay dry” lining. What happens is it doesn’t get absorbed and it leaks down the leg. This has been a problem for couple years. I was fixin to go on a cruise and was very worried about the fact that several times a day I had to change clothes because these competitors products were just about useless. As a last ditch effort, I saw Amazon had their brand. I was a little worried, but decided that it couldn’t be any worse than what I was putting up with. I just can’t even say how awesome these are! Since I bought these, I have had absolutely no issues of wet clothes or urine running down my legs. I can’t figure out why they are so good and different than the others. One thing I have noticed is the crotch is wider. Another thing that is good is they don’t bunch up and make you look like a baby whose diaper hasn’t been changed in 24 hours. Sometimes I don’t even have issues the entire day. I can go all day without having an issue. These look just as good at night as when I put them on in the morning. Other brands tear apart and a couple of them leave fluff on the floor when you go to pull them up. I cannot even think of one negative with Amazon’s brand. As a matter fact the other day, before I could get to the bathroom, I ended up having an accident (I don’t know how else to explain this, so that it is acceptable language. Haha) and it ended up running down my legs. I was rather amazed because I had not had any issues like that with the Amazon brand. Then I remembered that it was another company’s product and I was trying to use them up. I was very happy about that because I love the Amazon Brands so much and as far as I’m concerned, there is nobody else’s product that comes even close. Without a doubt, I am very confident you will be pleased with this product.

I have tried just about all the brands in this category and have found these to be the best so far. Not only do they do what they say but they fit better, hold more and are much softer then their competition. They have not leaked once overnight. You will be glad if you at least try them once.

The correct fit! I hate having to buy S/M pullups because I have to roll the tops down so they don’t fit like granny panties. If I am one size and another woman is the next size up, a two sizes product is not going to fit one of us. These pullups are snug. I love that they sit at or below the waist of my clothing. I don’t feel like I have a wad in the back of them. I weigh 117 and have 36 inch hips. If you’re bigger, go up a size.
