zippo quality, armor case so hopefully will last me a life time. feels solid apart from hinge its seem bit wobbly to me so will replace mine. got mine at discount price so it was good value for what it was.

I'd give this 6 stars if I could. On the surface it appears to be the standard Zippo, if you like Paisley pattern it's right up your street. Quite dreary as far as colour goes. I thought the pattern was engraved but I'm still not exactly sure how it's been done. Doesn't look like a sticker but it's smooth to the touch, you cannot feel the design. It's as if the design is underneath a coating. Perhaps that is what is meant by 'iced'. This is not black ice. It's closer to the grey-dusk models. The pattern is on both sides too which is odd for Zippo....at least as far as my collection goes. But the best bit by far is how the pattern on this Zippo catches the light. I left it on the window sill flat on it's back one sunny October day, caught sight of it at one point and thought it was on fire. I had to double take it. The sun was glinting off the pattern, the little points of light looked like small embers flickering away. I felt like Frodo watching the text slowly appear inside the ring of power. This lighter is beautiful.

This lighter is an excellent Zippo. I love the 360 degree design and the brushed chrome of the rest. It feels good in the hand, the lid and body match perfectly and I still admire it when in use. I have several Zippos and although this lighter could (and maybe should) have been kept as a collectors item I just love using it. If you like or collect Zippos I would recommend this one.

This is without doubt the nicest lighter I've ever owned! It's a lovely size and the weight feels great in your hand. Beautifully made, looks amazing, I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

I have a large Zippo collection. This one was my favourite to take out with me and use until it was stolen from me. Was very pleased to see it still for sale, I bought a new one as soon as I could. Lovely subtle design. I love that the design on the front is different from that on the back, and not just copied. Also it's hard to find Zippo's with a design on the back as well as the front. Fast delivery. Great value.

I don't think Zippo needs any introduction, so I'll highlight the key features of this particular model. It's the 2016 Collectible of the Year, which might or might not mean anything, I think "Collectible" is a very abused term when it comes to Zippo and don't buy it thinking it will increase its value over the year, chances are: it won't. That said, it is an "armor" Zippo, which means it is build with thicker metal walls, which makes it feel more solid, heavy and overall better than a regular Zippo, which are already very nice to hold and handle. The decoration is etched or engraved and it goes all around the lighter, the aesthetic is certainly a personal taste, but it's undeniable that it looks different from other Zippos, and very good to me. The polishing of the chrome is remarkably well done and pleasant to look at. Overall, buy it if you like its look and if you do, you won't be disappointed, it's as beautiful as Zippos get: keep in mind that it's more expensive than most Zippos, and honestly this premium price won't really hold over time. Oh yeah, it comes numbered, if that kind of stuff interest you, that's also a plus.

This Zippo is cool as hell. The weight, the thickness, the look, the click, the process of refilling and tending... It just feels very raw and tangible and real, yet refined and regal. Beautiful like a little jewel but way more useful than one! I don't smoke or use it for much, but when I offer to light someone else's cigarette, it becomes the immediate object of everyone's focus and a deep fascination for those around. I used to do "White Glove Service" work where I may have needed to cater to a small whim of a high-end client, so I bought this as a way to tend to any need for a flame. Never needed to, but it really almost serves as an extra hidden part of my outfit whenever I go out or have an important meeting. Seriously cool and worth the money, to me.
