My Favorites!
These are my favorite shoes ever! I have two pairs and plan to get at least a couple more pairs. For the past several years, I have worn Kalso Earth Shoes . . . ONLY Kalso Earth Shoes. The negative heel has made a huge difference for me with back pain. I don't know why, but any kind of heel, low heel, even no-heel shoes, cause me a lot of back pain. Now, I will say that I don't have some of the foot issues some people who don't like these have had. My foot isn't wide, I don't need a lot of arch support or much cushioning. I wouldn't wear these for any long-distance walking or hiking. Fortunately, I have a few pairs of sturdier sneakers for those occasions.Oddly enough, my worst back pain has always been with casual, stop and start walking - like taking in a museum, shopping in a mall, or attending a festival . . . Walk a while, stop and look at something, walk some more, etc. The pain would quickly become excruciating. I couldn't go very long without needing to sit and rest my back, holding up everyone I was with. These are perfect for those kinds of outings and make a world of difference for me.It does look like they've switched out the insole to a cheaper version, but I don't have any pairs with the older, higher quality version, so I can't compare. For me, they're super comfortable the way they are, with or without socks.I did go up a half size from my usual, and they fit great. My regular size may have fit, too; it's hard to tell, but these are fine.If you need extra width, arch support, or cushioning, these may not be for you. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend them.

It feels like wearing nothing
Pros: These shoes are so lightweight. It feels like wearing nothing. Negative heel if you're comfortable in them. The negative heel takes a lot of pressure off the back of the foot. I have plantar fasciatis and there is no pain when I'm wearing them. The shoes are flexible enough to conform to your foot while still providing support while you wear them.Cons: Like some other reviewers stated, the insole is nothing like the ones on the older earth shoes (don't believe the picture shown in the product list). They are flat, hard, and probably very cheap. The toe box is not as high as expected. have exchanged them for an 8.5. My foot is flat and narrow to medium width and I still exchanged for a size up. The length was fine but they squished my big toe. I found some memory foam insoles that are flat so they won't defeat the purpose of the negative heel and will replace the cheap insoles the shoes came with.I gave them 4 stars for being so lightweight, comfortable, flexible and for the negative heel.I took one star off for the crappy insole and the lower toe box.

Absolutely loved these shoes, but unable to get them anymore...? HELP!
These are the ultimate shoe/sneaker for my wife. She loves them and was so very pleased with these. Unfortunately they are no longer available. If anyone knows where we could purchase these, we would love to place a multiple order of these Earth Shoe sneakers.

So far So good. ...
So far so good... I understand there is a break-in period - I have been wearing them around the house. They are nice and light weight - fit like a glove more than like bulky typical sneaker. First time trying an earth shoe - I am trying to help myself with recurrent stress fractures and a neuroma due to my style of walking more on the ball of my feet than striking my heel first. I am hoping this shoe will help with that issue. I always wear a size eight in shoes and a size nine in sneakers (this is always the case with my Nikes and with New Balance - In fact, in New Balance and maybe even in this one I think I could have also tried the 9.5.... but not going to bother reordering. As others have said, they could allow more room in the front so that toes could really splay out.... there is sort of a stiff front edge.... So, my suggestion would be - if you are say an 8... order this in both 9 and 9.5. Also, I have very slim feet and often used to wear narrow widths - this fits pretty well. I would say that if your feet run wide, this shoe myight not work for you.

Yes, the seam on the tongue is annoying!
Earth's take on the minimalist shoe.I went up a half size because I don't wear socks with shoes. And I think that the amount of padding in regular Earth shoes is too much in the summer. The tongue is constructed in such a way that was really uncomfortable for me - I read comments about a seam in the shoe being painful and thought people were being sissies. But it is a valid complaint! I noticed it more when I wasn't moving. But the shoe met my wants of being minimalish, zero drop, summer friendly and not orthopedic in appearance!

nice shoe
This is my second pair of Kalso Earth Prospers. The first pair I have worn for over a year and love them. So I bought this pair. The right shoe fits a little tighter than it should. I used a shoe stretcher on it and that helped, but I see I will have to do it again. Maybe that is the result of a "vegan" shoe? As it is, I barely have enough lace to tie that one. I hate to recommend that you buy a half size bigger, but this one definitely would have been better if I had. Then again, if they are not consistent in the same line, it is entirely possible that another pair the same size would be great.

Nice shoe
This is my 2nd pair of earth shoes. I wore boots all winter and decided to buy a tennis shoe for spring. When I first put them on, they felt a little tight at the front part of my arch. I ended up removing the shoe inserts and they fit great without them. I prefer a minimalist type shoe, so I am very happy. I have wide feet with high arches and a narrow heel. My feet go right to the side. Any more narrow and they wouldn't work for me. I'd like a little more room in the toe box, but my toes do not feel cramped. Also, the shoe laces are really shot, but I can buy new laces.
