Mosiso Plastic Hard Case with Keyboard Cover with Screen Protector Only for MacBook Pro 13 Inch with Retina Display No CD-Rom (A1502/A1425, Version 2015/2014/2013/end 2012), Rose Quartz I really love this laptop case, the texture is silky soft and it fits my 2016 MacBook Pro perfectly. I purchased the rose gold coloring, and the shade is spot on. The keyboard cover fits my keys perfectly and the pink color of the keys has not worn away yet from five months of daily use. A previous cover I had for my old MacBook did show wear on the A-L row of keys, especially on "F" and "J", where my index fingers usually sit. But this keyboard cover thus far looks just as good as the day I put it on.Five Month Update:The hard case is holding up extremely well as well. It looks just as it did the first day I put it on. I am not particularly rough with my laptop, considering it is a magnificent $2k piece of machinery, but I am still impressed with the product quality of this hard case/silicone keyboard cover. I would not hesitate to purchase this same or different products from Mosiso in the future based on my experience with this case so far.One Year Update:I still like the case, though a pice has broken off one of the edges now. I am down-grading my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because at some point throughout the course of the year I noticed the keyboard protector blocks the backlight that illuminates the characters on the keys from being seen. So in the dark, the keys are not illuminated and I can't easily type. I have turned the backlight for the keys all the way down so as not to waste battery power now. I am currently looking for a new keyboard protector or a whole new case altogether because they usually sell them bundled for a decent price.

WHY I CHOSE THIS CASE OVER PRICIER MODELS:This is a good value. I recently bought a new-to-me MacBook Pro. There were already a couple of marks in the aluminum so I wanted to put something on to protect my investment. I came to amazon looking for a cheap case that would get the job done. I ended up doing a couple hours of research. Based on what I saw on YouTube and Amazon, these Chinese covers are all pretty much the same.Previously I owned a 2009 "unibody" MBP. I paid for a pricey case from Speck. While it protected my computer fine, it got discolored with age and there didn't seem to be anything special about it that made it worth the additional $40 other than a well-known name. It was a harder, thicker plastic, but I got the impression the laptop wasn't cooling as well as it could have. That's just my opinion, and I didn't perform any tests to verify.THE GOOD:I decided to take a chance on the Mosiso brand (again, the cases in this price range all seem to be manufactured in the same factory, with the same materials).It looks great. I especially like the look of the illuminated logo through the black. I got the case in the "black" color-- not jet black or transparent black. The material is soft touch and slightly translucent. I would estimate about 80% opacity. It is very similar to the stock photo, the black has a hue that's almost closer to an extremely dark gray in person. I would still call it "black" but it is slightly less dark than it appears on my screen.It fit snugly and I had no issues installing the case. It clipped right into place with almost no effort. I was not interested in the included screen and keyboard protectors.I did briefly apply the keyboard cover and was surprised to find it had nice tactile response. I had assumed the responsiveness of the keys would be dulled dramatically and that wasn't the case. The sensation was pretty close to the real thing. I'm pretty careful with my things, so I opted to set it aside. I thought readers may want to know that it did fit perfectly over the keys. It was tight and snug with no movement from the force of my fingers striking the keys.THE NOT-SO GOOD:The clip design is an issue. I still believe this is a good value, but I wish I had known that my wrists would be irritated by the clips the secure the case to the machine. Extended typing sessions can be pretty irritating. The hard plastic piece extends a millimeter or two above the top edge of the laptop and digs into your wrist from any normal typing angle. If you're a professional who types a lot, definitely opt for a different case to avoid this nuisance.I've included a couple photos to show the clip protrusion and the color in typical lighting. I used flash on my phone to highlight the translucency.

I purchased the navy blue version of this case and actually returned the first one thinking it was just a defect, but the 2nd was no better. The clasps on the bottom part of the case (under the keyboard) do not actually fit the A1502 MacBook Pro model. The clasps at the hinge seem like they have way too much plastic on them and really don't fit very securely. I think this causes the front part of the case (bottom near the trackpad) to fall lower than the edge of the computer frame and the clasps at the front can't sit right above the frame. This causes cracking at the clasps (see picture).I haven't had this more than 6 weeks and there is visible cracking in the case because of how poorly the bottom fits.

I had decent expectations about this product because of the reviews, but also didn't get my hopes up because of the price. However, I LOVE this case! It fits perfectly on my MacBook pro and the color is true to the photo! I didn't really care about the keyboard cover or the screen protector. I figured they were just added bonuses for the price, but the keyboard cover is my favorite part! The color is beautiful and it doesn't impinge upon my typing at all. The screen protector is also a nice added feature that will help keep the screen cleaner and free of scratches. The case is most likely meant for protecting from scratches and spills, I would not trust it if the computer was dropped, but it would at least brace the fall somewhat. Overall I am so happy with this purchase. It is great quality, especially for the price. Definitely would recommend to other buyers!

This is a case that will protect your MacBook Pro 2015. It heavy and it’s easy to install! HOWEVER as it Is easy to install it’s blind blowingly hard to remove! And heavy duty and protective it is, it will ruin the Hinge in the MacBook. It makes the screen very heavy so when you open the screen at a little more that 90deg it starts to fall back on its own. This can’t be good for the Hinge. I’m returning this and will use the MacBook as it was design and maybe get a carrying bag for transport.

Me llegó a tiempo, el color es muy bonito y el material también se ve bueno. El protector para el teclado está bueno, solo que es para teclado en inglés, entonces no le quedo muy bien por que las teclas son distintas por que mi teclado es en español.Solo un detalle, una de las orillas no estaba bien redondeada y quedó el plástico filoso. Entonces cuando la uso y escribo, me lastima el antebrazo y muñeca interior. Parece tener una “rebaba” y no se lo puedo quitar. Todo lo demás lo veo bien.

I have to say, when I first opened the package I thought they sent me the wrong cover and almost returned...it turns out I was trying to put the bottom piece on back-to-front! But once I figured that out, I was very happy. The outside cover seems really durable and not too bulky imo. The keyboard cover is nice and thin, so you can type quite easily without too much adjustment, and it has thin sticky strips to hold it secure in place which is an awesome unexpected feature. Overall, for what I paid I'm extremely happy.

I really only got this because it was a Prime Day lightning deal. I had another one saved in my wish list. But, I am so happy with this one! The bottom of my (considerably more expensive) case was broken. I replaced it with the Mosiso and it just slipped effortlessly on and has been perfect protection.The keyboard protector!! How did I ever live without this?? I (shamefacedly) do EVERYTHING with my laptop open. Eat, drink etc and this protector fits over the keys beautifully and can be shaken or wiped off in seconds. I am a speed typist and tested for the fun of it and the key protector did not slow my speed at all...it is like it came with the Mac.Just a steal of a deal and a wonderful product. I have the top stored away for when I eventually need it and I've had several friends ask "oh wow, where did you get that?" when they've seen my keys. So nice when something functions beautifully AND looks great.

I only wanted this product for the top case, which is perfect, fits very well, and is secure yet removable when I need to, but I tried the rest of it for the review. The bottom cover fit great but then didn't click in very well. Also, the rubber on the bottom of the cover makes it so that it's difficult to move your laptop around the table, it gets stuck. I'm not using the keyboard cover because it feels weird to type on and isn't very secure. I have not tried the screen protector. Overall I'm still happy I bought this product because I only wanted the top cover. Make sure you check the make code on your laptop before you purchase because the same laptop type and year could have a different code which calls for a different case.
