Great quality, and very comfortable in hand. If you don’t care about having anything fancy and just need good solid dumbbells these are perfect. Especially for a home gym!

Works just as intended. Perfectly suited for HOME GYM indoor use. What I mean by that is you're not supposed to drop these as you do at a commercial gym. Weights at commercial gyms are higher grade, and have steel cores. This one's most likely cast iron underneath the rubber outer lining. Not to mention you'll damage your flooring if you were to drop these at home anyways. Know what you're getting it for, and these will fit the job just fine. There is a slight rubbery odor upon opening. Just give it a wipe down with a wet rag, and within a week it''ll go away.

I have one identical to this I got at a well-known big box store, but needed another so I could have a matching pair. I found one here on Amazon at a significantly lower price, and received it only 2 days after ordering! The rubber coating won't mar floors, and the next shape prevents rolling. The slightly checkered grip prevents sliding in the hand. It works, we'll, like a dumbbell should! Also fits in my A-frame weight rack.

Good quality but make sure to get as set if you're looking 2 too purchased not realizing it was a single dumbbell. Grip good not over textured feels good in hand.

Decent dumbbells, I have the 20's, 30's and 35's and all look decent, held up well, and they didn't have the rubber smell people complain about after you wipe them down once. The only thing I don't like about them is the knurling on the dumbbells can be a little more aggressive. It seems more muted on the heaver dumbbells where you can use the extra grip. I don't know if it's the CAP brand or just the dumbbells I received but I would like a more noticeable handle.

I have purchased these weights in 5 pound increments from 10 to 50. I chose the chrome handles. I have found all of them to be very well made and they look like they will last the rest of my life. Also you cannot beat the price. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The rubber coating is thick, the weight sizes is embossed in very large numbers that could be either red or felt easily, the grip has enough gnarling to keep them from flapping around in your hands however they don't tear your skin up. These are exactly what I wanted and they look great on the rack in my basement.

Although I think these are expensive, for the most part they are cheaper than all the other brands available on this site. I bought when on sale - I recommend the same for you but all depends how quick you need something. I bought the 5-25lb set and rack, now I am collecting the next few weights as my workouts are starting to require them. 30lb+ have to be bought individually, but as I said, they are the cheapest option. They DO smell a little at first, but it's not unbearable. I used them in a workout the night they arrived after wiping the handles. Personally will be buying more, but I will wait for the sales, as usual.

Got this for my husband asa a replacement for his homemade dumbbell. Though he did not expect the weight to be this heavy, he still loves it!
