If you want great vegetable soup with a minimum of effort to prepare, this is it. I am not a cook, but I wanted soup to serve at my annual Christmas sit-down dinner. I ordered a couple packages of this not knowing whether it would taste good. Not only was it easy to prepare, but it taste great. This was the determination by all of my guests also. It was so good, I reordered more recently. You only need to add it to 7 cups of water and add a can of petite tomatoes and let it boil. It is finished in about 1/2 hour. In addition, you end up with a large pot of very good vegetable soup. You also have the option of adding meat to it if you want, but for me it is fine without meat. It is now my soup of choice.
