Diverted (Coast Guard RECON)

High Action Adventure
There is almost constant action intrigues and attempts to kill the Doctor from the minute she runs into her old boss. It is full of gun fights, recon, and smuggling issues. I liked the fast paced adventure but it was a little abrupt the ending... Once they get to the goal there's not much left between the Doc and her Special Coast Guard officer... I guess he is on vacation when he turns up and I guess they go to Morocco the same day.

Wow! Once Carolina makes up her mind she is all in!
The first time they met Carolina saved Nick's life, can he return the favour this time? Does he even want to?Nick has a whole boatload of emotional baggage, especially when it comes to Carolina. Seeing her again causes a tug of war on his emotions, he is still attracted to her, but he blames her, wants to hate her and really doesn't trust her...unless he actually listens to his gut and his heart...they are telling him she is his, his to protect, his to love. Carolina really does bring Nick to his knees, I loved seeing him so rattled and unsure of himself and the verbal sparring between them was highly entertaining. The first in the series this book is intriguing, dusturbing and has you invested for more in the series, despite the team being together a short amount of time they have become a family, a dysfunctional and interfering family, but family when it counts.I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

The action just keeps coming in this fast paced action suspense story with a bit of romance thrown in for good measure. Well worth reading.

Good story
Had to keep reading to see what happens next. Plenty of danger, love and intrigue. Going to download book 2.

The story is a real un-put-downable read, but dictation to print needs proof reading please
Really enjoyed this first in a series book with fast paced action, believable and likeable characters and some humour along the way with the suspense. However the reading experience is jarring with typos like slowing a vehicle with breaks and many more. I understand why it happens but it interrupts too much. I do feel the fast pace is partly conveyed because the book has been dictated; however a simple proof read would iron out the bumps better than a spell check.Keep on producing these great stories please, I will still read them.

Wow...thrilling!!
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.Lori Matthews is a new author to me and I am so glad that I decided to review this book. It was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.Told from the POV of both characters injured US Coast Guard Nick Taggert and Dr Carolina Alvarez who works for Doctors Without Borders.Fantastic storyline, brilliant characters and loved the HEA.Would love to read the rest of the books in this series once they are published.
