Great for Home or Apt.
Nice unit, not to big or to small, just right for a 1 or 2 person home. Had larger units that took forever to fill and then you had to stir them with a tool of some type. This unit holds about 3 water buckets worth of waste, just right for us. It rotates very easily and can be picked up (has handle) and then emptied wherever you need the fresh compost. We use Bokashi to speed up process in addition to being able to process dairy, meat, and bone by using it. If you're starting out or are an experienced composter, this unit is a definite 5. Follow assembly instructions and it's really easy to put together. See photos 😎

Super Small, Super Cool Composter!
I live in an apartment in a major city. I have a *little* garden on my front veranda. I used to do composting in a covered bucket, but that's a difficult thing. You're managing a swamp... and that's not fun. This little composter does a fantastic job of mixing air into the compost and draining the excess liquid from it. The liquid collection bin on the bottom does work, and collects the compost "tea" which is a bonus to pour onto your garden. And most importantly for me, this cool little guy is small enough to easily fit in the corner of my veranda! Now for the criticisms. It IS a little tricky to put together. Be patient, read the instructions carefully, and go slow. Once it's together, the sliding door is problematic. It doesn't fit or lock perfectly. So, it will slide open and/or come completely off when turning the unit. Solving this requires the trial-and-error of *CAREFULLY* heating the locking tabs with a lighter, to bend them to a shape where they will fit tighter and lock the door closed. Lastly, the green colour of the unit really IS an annoying colour. It's not a natural green and causes the unit to stick out like a sore thumb. A darker, hunter green would have been such a better choice that would allow it to better blend into the environment.Pro Tip: I keep the unit covered with a large black plastic trash bag. This accomplishes a few things: It keeps excess rain water out of it. It locks in the heat, causing the compost to work harder and faster. Lastly, it covers-up that annoyingly-bright green colour. If you have small garden, I definitely recommend this little composter!

To cheap to send directions
I am trying to put this together in my garden. Where the freaking compost goes. No directions, but nice enough to send a QR code. The link to which I can't read on my phone, and can't get to on my computer. Thanks.

Works, maybe not as intended
To start, this item does the bare minimum it’s intended for. Holds scraps of food allowing for them to compost. That being said, the way that the item pieces together is simple enough to assemble but it leaves much to be desired in terms of securely holding compost. The two pieces fit together with more space than I would like so there are multiple spaces where “sludge” will eventually leak out. We live in apartment so we thought this would be best for having on the patio as it’s small and relatively compact. But with that gap, it allows for all organisms that find their way in to crawl out and out patio is covered with larvae and maggots. Less than desired. Also, the way the plastic door slides open works well enough once clean and assembled but once you start to use it and it’s dirty it is difficult to simply do without getting dirty. A door or flap that pulls open rather than slides would be much better. The item does what it is intended but this is a pretty good example of one person engineers a product but has no first world experience with the item in question.

Easy assembly and versatile
I am giving it 5 stars for now as I have just purchased it and assembled it. It was easy to assemble. The rollers for the barrel are smooth. It has a handle which would make it great for spreading a large amount and the opening is large enough for a spade to spread a small amount. It is compact which is great as I moved to a new state and am in an apartment until I find where we will get a house. I mention this as it also came with stake type feet for soil and is still large enough to use in a more permanent garden. I look forward to seeing how well it does at composting.

Awesome little composter!
Putting it together took a few minutes more to be sure I had correct part each time so not to mess anything up only to get to the end n have to go back n correct. Works nice n smooth. Easy to turn. My dog was interested in it at first bc of the food smells coming from it but has left it alone so far. If you have a counter surfer dog you will need to put it up out of reach bc it is not that sturdy to last through a dog attack like a garbage can.

Easy assembly
Wow - this was super easy to assemble. The photos were self explanatory - the pieces are sturdy plastic. I like the idea of two options for setting this composter - those pegs for the yard will definitely ensure it will not easily blow, or tip over. Love it so far!
