Well made registers at an excellent price. We had these installed in a new house build when the flooring was being put in. The fit was perfect, no sanding or tweaking required. The floor installers stained them to match the rest of the floor perfectly. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

We have red oak registers in our family room, unfortunately in high traffic areas. Over time, guests have stepped right on top of them cracking and breaking them. We ordered 4 of these to replace the broken ones and have an extra on hand. The holes in our floors are exactly 4 inches x 10 inches, which is what these describe in the listing. We were very disappointed to find that when we went to install these new ones, that the underside that fits into the hole in the floor (the frames are already hard installed and cannot be removed) measures 4.5" x 10 .75, and not 4" x 10" as stated in the product description, so none could be installed. Amazon took them back for a refund. Since others are stating that they fit their installations, we have to assume that everyone's 4" x 10" holes are not exact. Ours just happen to be exact so these did not match the description of fit.

Stains well to match hardwood floor. Not perfect with minor imperfections but looks great in a finished floor.

Definitely not 4 x 10, I should have read the details. It also is not a drop in, even if it was the size I needed, I am not sure how I would have installed it.

It looks good on my wood floor.I like it and when it's finished it has a nice color.

Great quality at a low price. I will inlay these into my floors before refinishing.
