This review comes with a story
Many years ago, we became foster parents. Two children came to us which we knew we would adopt. They had been through so much in their short years. A year after they came into our home, we were given a late night call to come pick up an 18 mo from the hospital in a full body cast. Nobody in the countries would take her. I'm trained so it doesn't bother me one bit. At the 72 hour court hearing, they brought in her 3 mo sister. The sister was going to have to be placed 4 hours to the South. It broke my heart... so we brought her home, too. Now we have seven kids and two have needs. We had a great summer and went on a vacation all together. When we got home from the vacation, I admitted to my husband I had found another tumor. I got a biopsy and my breast cancer was back. I was diagnosed the first time in 2015 and now in 2017 I was rediagnosed on the SAME day as the initial diagnosis. It was a hard fight. When I went back into remission, we found out my husband needed open heart surgery. No, we're not old. We're in our 30s. He received his surgery, successfully. Two months later we adopted all four kids. I tell you all this to demonstrate that my amazing kids have been put through it. I got this to help give them a way to reduce stress. They love this. It's a comfort. It's just as cute as the advertisement and it lights up just like it says. Love this product.

Doesn’t make noise, batteries not included, have to register for online content.
Loved this for a Christmas gift. Very cute and creative and light weight. Here are a few things to consider before buying though - I don’t know why but I kinda expected it to make noise but that’s my bad as the description doesn’t say that it does. Does not come with batteries just so y’all know (I’m pretty sure they have that listed in the description) and also the free content online requires ‘fairy registration’ which requires an email address. Also if you’re buying for an adult you may want to note that the hand print is about the hand length for a 15 year old so your hand may not fit in the outline. None of these are really deterrents for me but I just thought the info would be useful.

Cute fun novelty. Kids didn't take it seriously.
Got this for my kids who have a hard time sleeping on their own, in an attempt to claim my bed back. Worked the first night and they were excited to sleep in their own room with their worry plaque. Unfortunately they just came back to our bed in the middle of the night with said worry plaque taking up even more room in our bed. It's a cute novelty toy, and the kids have fun making up different things to be worried about, and often use it as a wishing plaque, but hasn't done much to actually make them feel like their worries are being taken away....or mine of having my bed back.

Wonderful, fun and unique product!
Wonderful product. My kids swear by them and use it almost daily. They have a peaceful nights sleep after using this. If they can’t sleep, they climb out of bed and use it again. They really believe in it. There is also a keychain version I have on my kids school backpacks. I bought them in Ireland. I have bought eight worry plaques so far, for my kids, their schools and their friends. I will continue to gift this product. The company have a wonderful line of products. I always stock up when I’m back home in Ireland.

Kind of ugly but is helping!
It’s really cheap/tacky looking. That said, it is helping my son recognize when he starts to feel a worry and to put it to rest. He’s an anxiety kid and will dwell on what most would consider non issues but to him they are real. I’m hoping this will continue to help him recognize and move on from these feelings.

The Irish Fairy Interactive Worry
Got this because my daughter really wanted it to help her with her worries. This turned out to be more gimmicky for her than useful. I suppose it works for others. For us it just became a good dust collector. As far as operation. You put batteries in, put your hand up to it, it senses your hand, goes red, and after a determined amount of time it goes green. This time interval does NOT change. So if your child is dropping a laundry list of worries on it, it will go green before they are done. It should stay red until you remove your hand, would be more realistic.

Great tool
I have bought two of these, one for my 5 year old son to keep at school as a calm down tool with his teachers. It's a great way to get a little one to talk about their feelings. I believe the color change should take about twice as long as it would offer a more realistic amount of time to calm down. I'd love to see one of these made for anger/frustration. Great tool!

Let the fairies take your worries away
12 year old daughter has Aspergers and anxiety. So far, this works to take her worries away. Hoping she can find comfort in it for a while :) Very basic item, made from plastic & intended to keep fairy magic alive. I like it, my daughter likes it & would recommend to those with anxious littles.

Fab idea
Helps my anxious son who suffers with nightmares. I have put it up by his bed so when he has a nightmare he uses it and feels better about going back to sleep.

Not just for worries
I like that it teaches my kids to slow down when they get to hyper I tell them I’m worried they are going to get hurt and they need to take a worry break for me they tend to slow down for round two almost like a fun time out a chance to re group
