Great lavalier mic for a fair price
I got this lavalier mic after my prior one started getting pops and crackles. Had this since late 2019 and it has far outlasted my prior brand. I have been using this with my old smart phone to capture audio for my YouTube videos. Does a great job for a budget mic. So if you can't bite the bullet and buy the more expensive audio options that run $100+, this is a great alternative to improve sound quality over built in mic setups on most camera's. Keep in mind this will not be super high quality, but the wind socks this comes with do a much better job than I would have expected out of a $30 setup. After several events and many trips packing and unpacking the sound quality still hasn't broken down or degraded. I have definitely been impressed by the quality of sound you get for a ~$30 product. The cord length is good, it comes with an extension cord, adapters and it also comes with 2 styles of windsock(the usual foamy style and a 'deadcat' style sock). The wind socks do a pretty good job of getting rid of wind noise and other small background noises, but it's not perfect. I use a standard plug on my phone, so haven't needed the adapters. I would expect the adapters work, but I'll let someone who has used them comment on that part. I can definitely say this was well worth the price and if I'm not ready to upgrade to a zoom setup by the time this dies, I would buy another.

Biker mic
Great service and the mic works as a great mic for my motorcycle videos. My exhaust is loud and in the videos with my GoPro Hero10, you can hear me very clearly. Highly recommend!

Good mic
Amazing mic for the price. Honestly surprised it’s this cheap. I make motovlogs on YouTube with this mic (tropical ted). It blocks out all wind noise and very easy to install. Small and compact

Worth buying
I used it in two ways: a. Directly connected to my DLSR camera. b. Connected to a portable recorder. For both I have more or less the same comments. In general I am very satisfied by the result such a mic can give compared to its affordable price. Very good job! I noticed that the final volume is a bit too loud if the mic is adjusted quite close to the chin. It must have a sufficient distance from the mouth to function better. Otherwise, either volume has to be adjusted later with software or you end up with an undesired result. Some consonants sound well, the "S" for example, one of the most difficult, sounds very well but others like "P" and "B" are quite harsh and one has to try to make some adjustments -if possible- before starting recording. Another plus point is that you don't get any "noise" from sounds around the source of sound. It can peak very easily only the sound of the person speaking and not other sounds around and it doesn't have any buzzle or noise created from the mic itself. I also noticed that the low frequencies are a bit higher. Sometimes this is positive, it gives a nice deep color in the voice. But it's not as actual and as accurate as it should be to call it a convincing microphone. As a conclusion I think there is space for improvement but if you compare the price with the quality of the product, then the result is superb. I recommend it unreservedly.

Excellent quality at a really great price.
The microphone stopped working after using it 2 times. I've tried connecting it to 3 different computers and 2 other recorders but it's dead. I don't recommend this article to anyone. It's really BAD QUALITY!!! Update: I reached out to the vendor to get my warranty and they shipped a brand new microphone within 2 days. It works like a charm. I've tested it on all my previous devices and there are no issues at all. The audio quality is really amazing.

Excellent wired lapel mic for the price
Excellent simple wired lapel mic. Works great for the price and what is. I only wish it came with a USB C adapter, but those are easily sourced.

Worth It
I needed an inexpensive lavalier mic for a small scale interview project. I researched several mics and decided to try out this one because sources said the customer service was excellent. This kit comes with everything you'd need to get started. It is compatible with DLSRs (which is what I used) and smartphones. Although do note if you have a newer galaxy with a "USB-C" this only comes with a micro USB adapter. I'm sure a converter can be found inexpensively. Before I even received the mic I got an email from Purple Panda with a quick start guide and reassurance that they were there if any assistance was needed. The mic was EASY to set up and came packaged well. It took me less than 2 mins from first opening the package to completing a successful audio test. I was very impressed with the quality of the mic. The lav clip is VERY sturdy. This worked great for my project. I was conducting miniature interviews in a crowded space with a LOT of background noise and the interviewee's comments came out clear and easy to understand. I'd highly recommend this mic to anyone starting out or just adding to their collections. For $30 you can't beat it in my opinion.

Here for a good time, not a long time.
Pro: -Long wire for running under shirt to recording device -dead cat muffles/suppresses wind noise extremely well -inexpensive -trrs to trs adapter included -good audio quality Cons: -long wire can be a pain to manage an applications that require a short wire. I.e. motorcycle helmets -no good way to mount inside of helmet, short of 3d printing a mount -died after 9 months Overall thoughts: I bought this to connect to a GoPro and mount inside my helmet. There isn't really any good way to keep the mic in place with the included alligator clip which isn't really a big deal because most microphones don't include a flat mount with adhesive. When I first tried it out and for the first few months the audio quality was great. The dead cat worked wonders to reduce wind noise to the point where it couldn't even really be picked up on the microphone and my voice on videos was perfectly clear. I didn't use it all the time when I was riding but it stayed mounted inside of my helmet for about a year. The last three months of those were me trying to troubleshoot why I was no longer getting audio. Initially I thought it was my GoPro microphone adapter. Then I tried connecting it to my computer with and without the included TRRS to TRS adapter. What I was getting off the microphone was a series of clicks, which I narrowed down to wiggling the wire coming off of the microphone itself. Overall, I liked it. It does have flaws such as an overly long wire and an alligator clip that's really made for being a shirt lapel mic. But the thing that really ruined it for me was the life of the mic itself. I'm really disappointed that it only lasted 9 months and it's been over the warranty period for me. Going to try a couple different brands and then come back to this review and see if any are better.

Great lavalier mic for motovloging
I have purchased this with the suggestion of a youtuber. Great mic that sounds great going through my insta360. Had to lower the gain to -6 but it is perfect for hearing the motorcycle and voice. The only thing is the wiring is a bit long for mounting on helmet but I have that figured out with this mount lol. Highly recommended.
