overall, the unit is a nice replacement for the factory head unit in a 2015 toyota rav4 limited. The downside - sound quality is not very good. There are only 6 presets for Sat radio. All of my other radios (including factory) have at least 18 presets.

I bought this ILX-407 for my 2006 Tundra. I was excited to upgrade and had just installed the model below this (ILX-650) in my twin's car and they and myself loved it. This model has had issues responding to touch and Apple car play is terrible. It works but for a long trip, which I do monthly visiting kids at school. the lag grows and you'll pass your exit. The display will be guiding you correctly but be 1/4 mile behind. So much so I'll cross the Throgs Neck bridge heading North and the display will show me still approaching the entrance ramp. if you are not familiar with the route you can easily pass your exit and miss short exit ramps. very frustrating. None of this happens with the kids ILX -650. replaced the USB cables several times with the Alpine and original Apple and others. I've upgraded the software with no change. Due to the lack of support from Alpine, I bought my Sony in this same price range and he does not have this issue.
