Efficient Gaming Laptop
Definitely a great choice for someone's first dedicated gaming pc. I've come to find out an RTX isn't necessary for a first time graphics card. The processor is decent, and I look into upgrading it as well. There is space in the interior where you can put more storage and ram slots, however you need to install the slots to hold the sticks, attach it all to the battery and motherboard, etc. I'm not sure why it asks about touchscreen, the laptop isn't a touchscreen. At least for me, definitely going to need more than the terabyte of space it gives you. Still makes for a good gaming laptop to start off with, it's my first dedicated gaming pc. TUF is a great series of computers.

I friggen love this thing
I've had this laptop for a while now. And it's taken me this long to really figure out all the "bells & whistles".There are some PROs and CONs, but I think PROs outweigh the cons. This laptop is pretty lightweight. But I'm also comparing it to my old laptop; which was like, seven years old before it crashed. And the "TUF" lives up to it's namesake. I don't recommend it, BUT, if you're prone to bumping into things like me (and i mean, a lot)... this laptop can handle it. It's got some nicks, scratches, and teeny dents from me being clumsy... but it's just battle-wounds (lol)-Now onto the PROs and CONs-PROs: soooo many options / features> BUILT-IN MOUSE-PAD "LOCK"-for those of us who still like to use a traditional mouse, but have had a laptop that didn't offer this feautre... this is paramount. Nobody likes accidently selecting something when you're using the keyboard.> SCREEN DIM /SLEEP/ LOCK easily accesible by simply selecting th FN.> ADDITIONAL KEYPAD- i hate the topbar number keys. But that's because of my job, and using #s in a row, is not effiecient. So being able to use the side keys- a plus-- but also, simply pressing Num-lock, allows you additional features without having to use the "FN" to access them.> LIGHT-UP KEYBOARD.-- at first i thought this was extra and I wouldn't use it. But since I live in an old-house, where overhead lighting is sparse (and lamps just don't cut it) I find the light-up keyboard extremely useful. [I just wish i could change the color...if that's possible, I haven't figured it out- lol]> BUILT-IN FAN.-- I've never had a feature like this before, so I thought it was kind of pointless. But after hours of use, the laptop can get a little warm. So they fan does truly help. But there is one downside; see con's for more.> SCREEN BACK-LIT OPTIONS-- HOLY COW! I love this feature! By pressing "FN+V" you can cycle through different back-light screen modes. And this is sooooo very helpful when your ambient lighting changes.CONs: Some things have failed & it lacks a feature I would like> NO CD / DVD ROM. I'm "old"school and still buy CDs...and DVDs.-- I also use an PM3 player. So loading music to my Laptop & then transfering to my MP3 player. So without this feature, I'm struggling to find a way to add new music.-- I also used to like watching movies on my laptop when in my room. But i can't do that now. =[> BUILT-IN FAN.-- i forgot to turn my fan off when not in use. And if the laptop is plugged in, the fan will run. So after this long, my fan burned out. Not a huge deal, since I wasn't used to having one. But the laptop does get warm if it can't vent. [IE: if you use a lapdesk without proper ventilation]--I remedied this by buying a lapdesk that has a fan...and it works like a charm.BATTERY LIFE- is good.> But if you plan on gaming or using the laptop for hours... don't anticipate having a long battery life. It lasts for about 4 hours, give or take. But make sure you're near a power source when it starts to go... because once it reaches low power, it goes FAST.Overall, I think this is a great laptop. It hasn't slowed down, even after uploading tons of pics & videos. It powers up fast, is generally easy to navigate, and has tons of features you may not even realize you wanted. I recommend!

A Great Overall Laptop
This is a low end gaming laptop. I'm not a gamer, but I liked the relatively fast CPU, the 32GB Ram and the 1T PCIe SSD (faster than most). I also like the backlit keyboard, the lack of bloatware and the $1279 price tag. It's extremely quiet (I don't know if this would be true playing games), very responsive and boots in 30 secs. (as opposed to my last computer with a slower chip and a SATA hd which took 10-15 minutes to boot completely. I was able to transfer 94GB using a Samsung T7 portable drive to this computer in less than 10 minutes. The computer seems very solid and well constructed. It's certainly attractive. The 17" (diagonal) screen is nice too. So far it's been more than worth the money (the vendor was good too--it came well packed a day earlier than scheduled).

The battery does not hold for more than 30 minutes. Screen is flickering.
From the first time I received the laptop, after unplugging it, it only lasts for 30 minutes, even if I just surf the internet. The computer freezes every 15-20 seconds, this is especially obvious when watching videos. Computer condition used - like new although case has signs of strain. The bottom cover has been opened before and probably some parts have been replaced.

Wifi card problems
Its a great laptop it plays all my games very well , but make sure you turn it off if you put it to sleep to often for long periods of time it messes with the WiFi card making the WiFi and Bluetooth disappear its a simple fix by just swapping WiFi cards. But i agree its still annoying.

Great Laptop!
I think for the price and if you need an 17 inches display is one of the best you can get. I've played God of War, Red Redemption 2, Control, Doom Eternal, have used Adobe Premiere Pro, and also at the same time Ableton Live with Resolume Arena, no problem at all!One thing I suggest is to max the RAM to 32GB as soon as possible and perform and undervolt with MSI afterburner to keep it as cool as possible. I had previously an Acer Nitro 5 but this thing is a LOT better.

Love it!
Screen is big and clear. Keyboard is great Gamer area has a raised tab on the W unlike the extra keyboard I bought. It is plenty fast and boots up in seconds.

Excelente laptop por el precio
The media could not be loaded.
