My daughter has used this for 3 years now! She’s a slow grower but it kind of adjusts as you grow. It gets played with and thrown around and has held up so well!

This pirate dress is a beauty. Lots of detail and well made for a costume. It has a beautiful, longer skirt.My granddaughter is 8 and I got her the size 8. A great fit with a little room.. She loved it.4 stars because the accessories were weak. I had to get a separate hat. Certainly not a deal breaker. 5 stars if it was just the dress.

My daughter wanted to be a pirate for Halloween, so I got her an extra size one, I never regretted doing that! It fits perfectly and will last her at least another two years!

My daughter wore this for Pirate night on a Disney Cruise and it was adorable, well made and comfortable to wear. It has a good amount of "poof" in the skirt which was about mid-calf length. The headband was a cute princess-like touch (didn't use the eye patch or hook, but those are nice touches to have) - it is absolutely worth the money. She just turned 11 and wears a size 10, so slightly smaller than average for her age. I bought the 10-12 size and it fit well with some room to grow (ie: it's true to size). Highly recommend!

My daughter looked adorable in this costume but she decided to be a witch instead. It is really well made and looks like a little German girl dress. This would have been my first pick for sure but probably would get a different hat/headband. This would be so cute with gold hoop earrings! My daughter is avg height and usually wears 12.
