The Well Life: How to Use Structure, Sweetness, and Space to Create Balance, Happiness, and Peace

You choose what to change
The Well Life is a self help book that helps examine practices of mind body health. Briana and Dr. Peter Borten invite readers to ask what a confidence mindset means, and what self integrity means. My favorite part: what happens when you make an agreement with yourself? What sets this book apart is incorporating something magickal. "Magnetizing is our term for a ritual to potentiate an intention in order to more effectively bring a desired state into being." There is sacred space within this book.I purchased this over a year ago. I've found that the more I consider my intentions, the more I can manifest change. For example, this morning I caught myself. My husband was in the process of unpacking boxes of floorboards and I wanted him to nail down a few more rows of boards right away. I took a deep breath to ask myself why I wanted him to do it my way. I realized that the construction chaos in the house is temporary, and he will do a good job no matter which order he does it."Accept with delight whatever comes to you . . . "As a person who suffered a debilitating car accident a decade ago with a severe lingering cognitive deficit, this book helped me acclimate, forgive, and adapt to craft the life I desired. It's money well spent.

Good stuff
I attended a webinar with Briana and have since signed up for Sacred Expansion course. She suggested I get this book and so far it’s amazing!!! I get why their using “sweetness” but I can’t help but wonder if there could be some other word that doesn’t sound so girly, frilly, saccharine-like. I have to replace it with something else when I read the book. But I really like the content, really good stuff I need to work through for sure.

Life-changing stuff in here.
Like almost everyone I know around my age (40's) feels stuck in a rut. Feeling like life has somehow let us down, or is sort of passing us by. We are the first generation to NOT be better off than our parents. The economy is not our friend. We are jaded. We have built up layers of armour to protect ourselves from the cynicism of our surroundings. We long to "break free" and live authentically. But we also have to pay the bills. So many of us just go back and forth between a new health craze, and a consumerism life-style. We long to be free of our anchors, but we also want to have the latest gadget or car. This book, short and simple, will change how you see not only your life, but the lives of those around you.If you are looking for a way to truly change direction, without sacrificing your life or moving to a mountain retreat, then read this book!

A Fabulous resource highly recommend.
I loved this book. I initially read it cover to cover but have discovered that it is equally as helpful just opening it and reading where ever you select. It is full of practical advice on how to get your life back on track with exercised that are not only achievable but easy to do as well. The authors between them have a wealth of knowledge that they share to give you immediate results in changing your life to be closer to what you desire or enhance what you already have..This is a book that I will re read and re read for many years to come as each visit reveals something new and helpful.A brilliant book that I am happy to recommend to anyone.

Read and ReRead It
The Well Life offers something often lacking in self-help books, and that is physical, practical solutions on how to change your life. The authors' space/structure/sweetness method makes sense to analytical minds as well as those more spiritually inclined. This is the sort of book to return to repeatedly as time goes by, to try on a new idea and perhaps recognize mastery over an old skill. Much of what the authors say feels like coming home, and honoring the self as valuable.Recommended for anyone willing to do the work on themselves and the world to make it a better place.

Transformative
This is a beautiful book for those who are truly ready to experience more balance and overall happiness. Using their well-explained principles of Structure, Sweetness, and Space, Peter and Briana explain how we can all design our lives to feel more fulfilling, rewarding, and authentic. As well as being motivating and encouraging, The Well Life is deeply informative, highlighting their expertise in Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mind-Body practices. There are plenty of actionable items and exercises so that you can start putting the principles you learn into practice right away. If you’re ready for thriving health and lifestyle changes, this book will be your new blueprint.

Highly recommend purchasing this book!!
Absolutely loved this book!! Found the subject matter to be broken down into very clear clear and concise ideas. If you are looking to do work on yourself then this is the best book to start! No matter your age, stage in life, or goals this book will truly help you create the joy and direction you desire. I'm using this book in conjunction with the author's calendar planner, Rituals For Living Dreambook + Planner. This is a must-have book for anyone wanting, but not knowing how, to create a balanced and fulfilled life.

Worth the cost!
This book is well worth the cost. Briana and Dr. Peter Borten's strategies of structure, space and sweetness have given me a roadmap to reach my goals. They provide easy and simple to implement tools and techniques to create a life you want while leaving the stress of our busy world behind. The insight and wisdom contained in this book is truly invaluable for those looking to create the life they desire. Though you have to do 'the work' yourself the simplicity of their system makes it something anyone can do and maintain. I could see immediately that I really could reach my goals as I begun to implement their recommendations. It's possibly the most valuable book I've ever read.
