Got Plant Issues? Go With Duspro!
This is my SECOND purchased bag. I love this soil and the quality of it! I initially bought a 2 quart bag to check it out and see if I liked it. After reading some mixed reviews about size and it being dusty, I thought, "hey, try it and see." Yes, it comes dusty and I didn't mind that. It's a bag of soil and they state directly on the bag that there may be dust and to lightly wet it down. They even suggest wearing a mask. Very considerate of them! In my area, all of the local stores that carry soil seem to have issues with the quality. I frequently experience moldy bags from national hardware stores and local nurseries, as well as massive amounts of pests. This soil is top quality!! No bugs and the 7 in 1 combination is awesome! My next venture with this wonderful company will be the Moss polls. All around, its a fabulous product. I highly recommend paying a little extra for this type of quality if you value your plant babies, and experience deep disappointmet with other brands!

Works good
It worked well with my Venus flytraps. Didn’t need a lot of soil, could have used 1/4 the size of the bag. It's always nice to have extra for when I loose my plant. I'll get it right eventually.

Small amount and unclear instructions but I went with my gut
So far so good. I transplanted my trader Joe's pitcher plant I managed to keep alive for a year. The soil came with instructions but didn't say what to do with the big moss chunks. I just used my learned experience and common sense to decide to layer it like it was in the bag. Lined the bottom with moss. Wet the soil mixture and added it in and the plant and then topped it with moss. Im nit sure if that was correct but the images on the package looked like moss on top. My hope is that the double moss layers will keep more moisture in the plant. So far the plant seems so be doing well. It is a but spindly because it didn't have enough direct sun but im trying to keep it outside now! It was also a very small amount for the price I had to switch to a smaller pot than planned that was still bigger than the original to make sure the soil would have enough depth. The moss also kind of washes out the color of the plant at times making it nit look great on first glance but as far as I can tell the plant is adapting well

Perfect for my Venus Flytrap terrarium!
I used this for my Venus Flytrap project in a large apothecary jar, and it’s exactly what I needed. The quality is excellent—it’s clean, holds moisture perfectly, and doesn't have any added fertilizers that could harm carnivorous plants. My flytrap seems very happy in its new environment. It’s a great value for the amount you get, and it made the setup process very easy. Definitely a must-have for specialized indoor gardens!

Needs to be rinsed first!
I got this when I was new to carnivorous plants. Whatever is in it killed my plants right away. I read after the fact that a lot of these pre-mixed soils need to be rinsed so I ended up getting a TDS meter and when I checked the water that drained out the bottom of the pot, it was at about 175 ppm. I had to rinse it about 5 times for it to be at a level that carnivorous plants can thrive in. So I did use this after rinsing it, but just beware that it's not going to be useable right out of the bag. Also, I should mention that rinsing the soil is a humongous and fairly messy pain.

No ok
My plants die with this mixe, not a good mulch, the other plant is still ok because I used a different one. I don't recommend.
