2020 Microsoft Surface Duo, 256GB - Glacier (Renewed)

I own a Samsung note 10+5g and a Galaxy Fold 5. I wish I had bought a duo first!. My reasons are simple. The duo feels excellent and operates far better than the fold. Yes the fold has higher specs and is faster but the duo has a far better screen size and works much better in dual screen. Also after using the Duo with 1 screen in word and the other as a keyboard in laptop mode it demonstrates its true potential. Yes the fold can do this but only as a gimmick as the upper screen is far to narrow to be of use. Whereas the duo can be used with ease and allows for several rows of text under the control ribbons. The note 10 is quicker and easier to use but is limited to single app at a time and as a note taker with the SPen works well. But not as a keyboard as the screen is too narrow. The note10 still comes out on top of all the phones. As it has the SD CARD support and I have no problems using a 1.5 TB SD Card. Also the note 10 can access the larger SD cards via the usb c port the same as the fold 5 Unfortunately this is the one aspect of the Duo that is iritating. It has no SD card support: further it can only access Small SD Cards making transferring data problem. Yes fewer phones are now without SD card support. They give many excuses for this but it is really a situation of the manufacturers ignoring the buyer's needs. Otherwise dual screens would have been available a decade or more ago. My advice. The duo is a phone that is essential for those who want to use a phone to work on. Ie students, managers writers etc.

Love it. Such a great piece of kit 👍

Had to be taken back, faulty

Came with crack to bottom hinge but doesn't affect use perfect device works flawless no marks to screen battery amazing Fast delivery great packaging never came with bumper but that doesn't matter

- HAPPENS -

It runs fast and smooth but hasn't has an update since August 23. The phone arrived in a new condition- not a mark on it. Some said, the device arrived with a bumper. Mine didn't and I haven't been able to source one. Unfortunately, due to this I'm not using as my daily driver, as it's just not protected. To be honest, if I'd have known this, I wouldn't have purchased as it's just sitting in a drawer, until I can find a bumper!

Had to have it... 🤨 I'm addicted to my original Surface Duo - "a Microsoft pre-purchaser" when they were first launched. Original bumpers gave out late last year, preferred handling my Duo without them, but... the slippery gorilla glass (when folded back) allowed it to slip of a patio cushion, drop 3 feet and bounce off the pool deck. Amazing, other than a scraped corner at the hinge, no other visible damage. 24+ hours later, although it functioned perfectly the main screen started to show a small crack along an edge after opening and closing it several times. Over the next couple days, a few more cracks continued to appear. Microsoft repair service is $650+... this replacement at $500, which still includes a MS warranty is a no-brainer! And arrives with all the original package accessories so I have new bumpers.

Love the futuristic design definitely caught alot of attention when I pulled it out of my pocket

What can I say... The product headline reads "NEW" as the first word and then "Renewed" as the last... A little misleading? I did not expect a brand-new device, but I did expect something that looked and felt brand new. Mine was not. It came in a plain brown box wrapped in bubble wrap with a generic low power charger and cheap USB-C cable. No bumpers were included as a "NEW" device would have. In fact, it had the remnants of a hastily applied clear screen protector (not the new device film you have to peel off when you get it) on one outer side and an absolutely filthy edge around the USB-C plug and the fingerprint reader, and remnants of adhesive from the previously installed bumpers. So filthy that even a Clorox wipe couldn't get rid of the brown that had clearly stained it. I guess I should be happy there were no cracks or dents and the plastic around the USB-C plug was intact (a very common issue for these) and it worked with my T-Mobile SIM card right out of the box. There weren't any scratches on the screens and the device did eventually power on after charging for about 10 minutes. For the price and getting a 256GB, unlocked device, I'll keep it and use it. I'm severely disappointed about the bumpers not being included though, since they are hard to come by and cost a whopping $35+ to replace.

Wasn't expecting much from a renewed set, but was pleasantly surprised when I received the surface duo. Could not find any noticeable flaws on the hardware. Original Bumper and charger/cable were included as well. Received it on the day Android 11 was released. Really enjoy using the duo with gestures enabled, battery life is awesome, really a fine product.

I love that this Surface Duo is unlocked and has 256gb! My husband is going to love opening this gift on Christmas morning!
