I'm not an addict, but this booklet really hit home with me. Based on Scripture, this guide gives insight and understanding on being a better person and finding "peace". I found that reading it with my wife has shown us BOTH how to be a better person for ourself and for each other. We all have problems and hurts that affect us in some way and this program shows us that we cannot handle these problems on our own...we have to accept and trust God and let Him work in our lives. This book is very inspirational and no matter what is going on in your life, reading this and following it will change your life forever! This is not a "self help" program...we are all sinners and live in a fallen world...we CAN'T help ourselves, our only hope is to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and ask Him to come into our lives and help us. That is it. This book will guide you every step of the way...

Are you looking for a Christ-based program to help you with your day-to-day problems? Look no further than your local Celebrate Recovery group. They will put you at ease and will aid you in finding answers to your problems without judgment or telling you how you should act or feel. That is totally up to you, but you hear how others have learned, through the Bible and belief in Jesus, how to learn to live a balanced, healthy, emotional life, with Jesus as your constant companion. This book is easy to read and understand and is for everyone, not just leaders.

Essential reading for anyone wishing to start a CR in thier church. This guide gives you all the tools you will need to initially get your CR started. From the 12 steps, to how to structure your large groups, small share groups, testimonies, as well as lessons. I can't say enough about this fantastic tool. I have been using this guide for 4 years and it is second only to the Bible.

Back in 2007, our group stared with only participants booklets translated into Chinese and a handbook of just a few pages. Yet the result of healing is tremendous! Now that it is revised and have such a huge Leader's Guide, I would like to check it out to prepare myself one day be the small group leader. I was one day shy of my certificate and would want to find out what I had missed and what more can the program offer to people of needs for recovery in different program.

Great way to ensure meetings are on track. This guide has everything you need to begin a celebrate recovery meetings, right down to the bottom and say you can print out informational sheets and leader ship guidance and check sheets a great investment.

Too pricey for group study

Have been using this book with a recovering addict who has recently declared her intention to become a follower of Christ. It's set out in a thoughtful way and is easy to use with out too much preparation ahead of time. Based on the 12 step programme, but with overtly Christian and moral values its a safe, careful, encouraging journey walking alongside an addict who is recovering slowly. Suitable for even those who do not enjoy reading or using books. Highly recommended. I searched hard for such a recovery programme to use and have not been disappointed this far.

Celebrate Recovery leader's guide helps leaders learn more about the 12 steps and 8 principles.Recommend for all CR leaders in any leadership position. And if you can, after you have been through your own 12 step as a participant.

I have attended a celebrate recovery course and I bought this guide as I missed a month and wanted to catch up. The guide was most helpful and enabled me to understand the principles and steps of the program much better.
