Vetrx Poultry Aid, 2 fl.oz

We’ve been raising backyard chickens for a few years now, and VetRx Poultry Aid has become one of our go-to products whenever our flock shows signs of respiratory issues. A few weeks ago, one of our hens started sneezing and sounded congested—we added a few drops of VetRx to her water and applied a bit under her wings and beak as directed. Yo comenze viendo mi pollito decaído con la cabeza abajo y no activo y me di cuenta que algo le pasaba asi que lo tome y de repente gritaba y sacudía la cabeza como si le faltara el aire y tampoco quería comer y ni beber agua yo note buscando información que el óregano es como un antibiótico para ellos asi que mande a buscar este producto y que también lo ayudaba a respirar todo esto sacando mis propias conclusiones y con este producto te dice 1 taza de agua tibia y 1 cucharadita de el producto tibio también y le di con una gotera un poco abriéndole su boquita y gracias a Dios y este producto mi pollito mejoro y comenzó a comer y beber agua que lo preparo con probiotics y se fortaleció asi comparto mi experiencia por si se topan con estos síntomas en sus pequeños pollitos que para mi son tan queridos.gracias

I really like this product, but I wish the feed stores would bring back the yellow antibiotic powder, which worked great for poultry when they got sick with upper respiratory infections. This product does help to ease some breathing difficulties, but you are still going to have to go to a vet and probably get your bird put on an antibiotic.

Good for cold

I was watching the grandchickens while my daughter was away on her honeymoon. Her first/oldest chicken was making a rattling noise and one day started acted like she was gagging. She started losing feathers too. I was so worried she would die on my watch I started looking for solutions.I got a warm mist humidifier to use with the RX. They put it in the hen house for a few hours at night since it wouldn’t harm the other hens. I guess that produced too much moisture so after a few nights they stopped. They started grabbing her first thing in the morning before she was too awake (she doesn’t like being touched) and rubbing the RX on her beak, head and wings. After a week she was noticeably better!! They’ve been using it on her and adding it to their water for a few weeks now and she is doing great!!

Worked for me and apparently for a lot of other people since 1874!! They do still make things like they use too !!!This product really worked for me and my birds. I had rescued 16 birds from a farm where they where under feed, had worms,(treated this with apple cider vinegar in the water for weeks.), Birds were coughing, and wheezing, aLot of missing feathers, sleeping all day, they were in bad shape.So far what I have done is.Put a small amount under each birds wings both sides. I put some of Vet RX on there heads and cones, A few birds I had to rub over eye lids etc.After a few days of this and other things like fresh herbs.A couple of the birds still where having breathing issues so I put some directly in there mouth with a dropper little by little. After a while I think they liked it.I use other things besides vet RX too and I think overall health of the birds is part of the diet, meds etc. However This Product worked great for me. I did not get anything else right away because I thought those birds was not going to make it.So I have got two other bottles of vet RX and I am going to add this to my weekly routine.I added a few drops to fresh water daily when they are out in the sun.
