Glad I got a shredder with an autofeed option. I also got the sharpening/oiling papers which are very necessary but I have certainly shifted some paper since I bought it. A little bit of care and it just keeps going.

This item does not shred 100 sheets, it stops with only 20 sheets in. Incorrect information on description

I’ve purchased TWO(2) Rexel shredders within the last month. Both have had to be returned. One was from currys and the other from Amazon. Rexel have an issue of promising but not delivering on those promises. Unfortunately both shredders would back up on themselves and couldn’t take more than 2 bone straight, A4 papers at a time, and even when you would try and shred 3 papers in the auto feed, it would go through, appearing as though it was fine, only to find that 3 minutes later, the shredder would reverse, with nothing coming back up. This was because every single piece of paper you ever shredded would be caught in the teeth of the shredder and there’s absolutely nothing that could be done about that, good concept but terrible execution. I’m now on the look out for a very basic, simple, non-Rexel shredder.

Ordered in May 2021. The item has a 2 year warranty. It was replaced under this warranty in Jan 2022. It is now faulty again. But the warranty runs from the original purchase date, so even though the item is under 2 years old we are left with an item that doesn't work and won't be replaced.2 I can't recommend this item.
