The envelopes work well, and the adhesive for the closure is nice and strong. They are thin envelopes, but they are not see-through due to the security pattern on the inside--I very much appreciate that feature. The size listed is accurate, and the color is pure white with no bleeding from the inside security pattern. You get 45 (I think?) envelopes in a box, and I feel like that is a great value, considering the quality.

I’m using these Mead #10 security envelopes for regular letter mailing and they do exactly what I need them to do. The peel-and-seal strip is super convenient—no licking, no sponge, just fold and press. The adhesive feels strong enough that I’m not worried about them popping open in the mail. The security lining is nice for checks or anything slightly sensitive; you can’t really see through them unless you’re really trying. Standard #10 size fits a tri-folded letter-size sheet perfectly, so no weird trimming or wrestling the paper in. They’re not super “premium” feeling—paper weight is fine but not thick or fancy. If you’re trying to impress a high-end client, you might want something heavier. And the pack is 45 count, which is fine for home/normal use but might feel small if you’re mailing stuff constantly. Overall though: for everyday mail, bills, forms, etc., they’re a good value for the money and I’d buy them again.
