🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Cable That Saved My Sanity (and My Son’s Setup!)
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Cable That Saved My Sanity (and My Son’s Setup!)Let me start with a confession: My son is the ultimate “ask Dad, then ask Mom” expert. He’ll come to me first with questions about all things gaming, but when he doesn’t get the answer he wants, he immediately heads over to Mom – the Queen of Amazon Prime, aka “The Clicker of All Things Awesome.” We joke that people think we’re Amazon delivery drivers because of how often those brown boxes show up at our door. At one point, our neighbors actually thought we had an Amazon Prime delivery van!So, when my son decided his gaming keyboard wasn’t “pro” enough without a fancy custom coiled cable, guess who he came to first? Yup, me. After explaining to me the importance of a USB-C cable with a detachable aviator connector (because apparently that’s critical to victory in Fortnite), he wasn’t thrilled with my casual “just use the one you’ve got” response.Of course, Mom swoops in with her magical Prime powers, and within two days (thank you, Prime addiction), the GUNMJO Pro Custom Coiled USB-C Cable in sleek carbon black shows up at our doorstep. The Verdict:Top-Tier Build Quality: This thing is a beast. Double-sleeved for durability and the coiled design just screams pro-gamer. My son’s gaming setup now looks straight out of a sci-fi movie, and I have to admit, it’s a huge upgrade from his previous tangled mess of a cable.Detachable Metal Aviator Connector: I thought the “aviator connector” was just some flashy gimmick, but nope! It’s actually super convenient and adds a rugged, industrial vibe to the setup. My son swaps out keyboards all the time, and now he can do it effortlessly, like some kind of tech wizard.Perfect Length: At 1.5 meters, this cable is long enough to reach his gaming tower without cluttering the desk, but short enough to avoid the dreaded cable spaghetti under his desk. It’s like the Goldilocks of USB cables—just right.Performance Boost?: Okay, maybe it’s just the placebo effect, but my son swears his keystrokes feel more responsive with this cable. I’m not sure if that’s true, but hey, if he’s happy, I’m happy.Sleek Carbon Black Design: This cable is a head-turner. The matte black finish fits perfectly with his all-black gaming setup, giving it that professional, clean look he’s always wanted. Now, his friends are asking where they can get one!The Bottom Line: My son’s over the moon with his GUNMJO cable, and I’m just happy I don’t have to hear about the “laggy old cable” anymore. Kudos to Amazon Prime and my wife for always saving the day (and my sanity). If you’re looking to upgrade your setup with a top-notch USB-C cable, trust me, this one’s a game-changer. Just ask my son—or better yet, ask my wife! 😂

Premium quality cable at a very good price!
I'm not exactly sure why I am such a fan of these coiled cables with aviator connectors... but I am! lol! I reall love the look of them in my setup. What I love about this Gunmjo cable is the high quality build and the very nice boxing presentation. The coil portion came very nicely secured in a shrink-wrapped plastic to prevent uncoiling and potential warping. It and the other portion of the cable and a rubber cable tie were all in a air tight foil/plastic container.I ordered the carbon black color which I thought would flow very nicely with my black and grey keyboard... and it really does flow perfectly! As I mentioned above the build quality is spectacular! It feels and looks premium. Love the look of the aviator connector and the way it secures both cables with it's screw mechanism. It works and looks as it should and I am very please with this purchase! At the time of this writing it lists for $15.99. I've looked at countless other cables of this kind from Gunmjo and they all vary in price based on color it seems because all of the cables are the same otherwise. The carbon black seems to be among the cheapest of all... but in my estimation it's among the most attractive. Of course, that's all subjective. What's not subjective is that at $15.99 you are getting a premium quality cable at a very good price! It's an excellent deal and I give this cable 5 stars and recommend it highly!

Good quality coiled cable.
I have now used this same cable on two different keyboards. The current one is the Corsair Galleon 100 SD. The non-coiled part isn't very long but luckily I have a hub close by and can still cable manage as my desk has a gap towards the back for said cable management. There's not much else to write about since it does what a USB-A to C cable should do. The cable can split in two so maybe I can buy a longer cable to go directly to my PC? I'll have to look into it.

Looks amazing, works great, but that coil is stiff
Got this cable in mid-January for my new Keychron Q1 mechanical keyboard and it definitely adds some style to my desk setup. The white color I picked looks super clean on my mostly white desk setup, way better than the boring black cable that came with the keyboard. The build quality is solid. You can feel the double sleeving when you handle it, feels thick and durable compared to regular USB cables. The metal aviator connector in the middle is hefty and clicks together with a satisfying snap. It's not just for looks either, being able to disconnect at that point is actually useful when I need to move my keyboard or swap cables. The coil itself is tight and looks professional. It's got that custom keyboard aesthetic that I was going for. The reversed coil design they mention does seem to hold its shape better than cheaper coiled cables I've seen that get all stretched out and wonky.Charging and data transfer work perfectly. No issues with my keyboard being recognized or any lag in key presses. It's USB-C to USB-A which is what I needed for my computer.Length is good for my setup. The straight portion is about 4 feet which gives me enough slack to position my keyboard comfortably without excess cable everywhere. The coiled section adds maybe another 6 inches when stretched. Here's my main issue though: the coil is REALLY stiff. Like, almost rigid. I thought it would have some bounce and flexibility to it, but it barely stretches. It looks cool sitting there but it doesn't move much when I adjust my keyboard position. I've had it for a few weeks now and it hasn't loosened up at all. Not a dealbreaker but I expected more spring to it.Also, the aviator connector adds a noticeable bump in the middle of the cable. On my desk it's fine, but if you're trying to route the cable through tight spaces or cable management clips, that connector is chunky and won't fit through small openings. The USB-C connection fits snugly in my keyboard port. No wiggling or loose connection. Same with the USB-A end into my PC.One thing to note with the white cable: it shows dirt and dust more easily than a darker color would. I've had to wipe it down a couple times already to keep it looking fresh. Not a huge deal but something to consider if you're messy. For the price, it's a nice upgrade if you care about aesthetics and want something more interesting than a stock cable. Just know that the coil is more for looks than function. It's not going to give you that satisfying springy bounce you might be imagining.Would I buy it again? Yeah, probably. It does what it's supposed to do and looks good doing it. Just manage your expectations on the coil flexibility.

A must for those who like a tidy desk with a little flare.
This is an amazing addition to anyone who like a neat and tidy gaming area, while adding some flare. Super easy to use and connect. Compatible with most USB-C Keyboards. Just the right length to reach your device and the ciol keeps it out of the way. Love the custom look.

Broke after 2 months
TL;DR: Faulty aviator connection, will malfunction with the slightest bump or tap of a finger.***Full review***Most name-brand coiled aviator cables sell for $25-50. The GUNMJO cable has been as cheap as $4.99 new. There's a reason why this cable is so cheap. Spoiler alert, it's not a good thing.I'll admit that I thought it was a steal of a deal too; it looks great, and at first I had no issues with it.That was, until recently. I purchased this cable in June 2024. Two months later, I started noticing that my keyboard would occasionally disconnect from my computer, only for it to reconnect a couple of seconds later. I thought it was a fluke with the keyboard itself at first, but then I discovered the exact issue.I have a wireless remote for my under-desk treadmill sitting right next to the "aviator" connection part of the cable. What was happening was that when I would pick up the remote, my hand and/or remote itself would ever so slightly bump into the side of the aviator connection. It would move the aviator connection only a fraction of an inch. But even that slightest bump would cause my keyboard to disconnect and then reconnect.I've been able to recreate this issue very consistently. I can barely tap the aviator connector with my finger, and my keyboard will disconnect then reconnect. What's even weirder is that both the USB-C connection to the keyboard and the USB-B connection to the computer didn't move a hair. The issue is 100% related to the aviator connection.I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting that aviator connection, making sure it's nice and secure. Still have the same problems. And of course, the problems would happen just after the return window. Funny how that works...

Wires in a Plastic bag not a proper box
I didn’t open the package, but it arrived in just a shipping bag with no box. It looks like an open or unboxed product. I expected to receive a new item in the original packaging, like what’s shown in the product preview.
