The inner foam panel opposite the nose clip is a game-changer. It's vital to get a good seal if you wear glasses, and this really helps.The upper elastic band is fairly long and flexible, but the lower elastic band is not. It's purposely designed to be tight under the chin, but the design makes it hard for people with large heads to get that short strap over and around. Take your time and pull gently and evenly on both sides. I can guarantee you that if a strap breaks, it will be right at the glue point.Key point: when removing the mask, pinch it at both sides of the lower glue point as you pull the mask up and over. This will help avoid the sudden snap and break that other reviewers have noted.

Most N95 masks are stiff, difficult to custom fit, too small for y somewhat large face, and painful to wear. This mask was large, comfy, soft, easy to mold to my face. The only downside was the bands go over the head, not the ears. I customized mine by cutting the bands in the middle and sewing them back together as ear loops. Much easier to put on.

Smell - First thing I want to start with is that a lot of people have complained about the smell of the masks. I personally don't find it that bad, but my mom, who gets migraines triggered by smell/light, said she would probably get a mild headache from it after a while.Size - I have a large face (on top of having a chubby face), so the 3M aura masks were WAY too small for me. I'd find that the chin flap would ride up and sit on my chin rather than the underside of my chin (no proper sealing). With this mask, it sits snuggly under my chin and stays put. My face width is mostly due to bone structure and is about 142 mm, this fits comfortably horizontally as well because of this. I wear glasses and find that the mask comes to the midline of the bridge of my nose and the foam keeps my glasses from fogging up. I really have to be breathing HARD to get my glasses to fog. I talk a lot at my job and so far I haven't felt like it is uncomfortable while speaking and don't get a mouth full of mask when I breath in.Complaint - I know this is disposable and thus should technically only be worn once. But no one can realistically do that due to cost. With that in mind, I would have hoped the straps would be slightly more secure than they are. They're just glued on to the mask, totally okay for me, but they pretty easily break away. I know I could easily super glue it back in place, but I just wish it was a little bit more structured.Overall - Really solid quality mask. Actually niosh approved, website confirmed it and I feel confident in my ability to catch a fake. Just minor complaints on the strap. If I could give half stars this would get a 4.5/5.

My adult son has multiple disabilities and a large head and face. It has been so difficult to find quality masks that actually protect his nose and mouth! These are very comfortable and well made. I love that they come individually wrapped. I wish these were available with over the ear elastic rather than over the head simply because my son could be more independent taking them on and off. He cannot lift his arms up high enough to remove or place over his head. I would highly recommend these masks for anyone with a large face!

While 3m n95 masks have heavy straps that clamp the mask to the head, providing the best possible seal, these just have flimsy elastic. As far as I know, the seal is adequate, but where the straps are melted to the mask is weak, and this breaks.My brother and I are at least 6' tall and this appears to be sufficient for me, but still too small for him.I would have bought a similar mask with better straps if I could have.I am going to buy another box and reinforce where the mask meets the straps.

I bought these large-sized masks specifically to fit my big head. Before I even got the strap of the first one over my head, it ripped off of the mask. From what I can tell, the lower strap is too short, the strap material is not very stretchy, and the glue that holds them on to the mask is weak.I GENTLY tried a second mask and managed to coax the strap over my head without breaking. The mask is indeed bigger than the standard sized 3M ones I'd been using but, other than that it is worse in every way. In particular:o Air leaks copiously from around the nose. The foam is too thin to make a good seal, and the metal piece is too weak to hold the shape of my nose. The stress of the upper strap pulling on the mask immediately deforms the metal nose piece.o The foam around the nose is slippery. Within a minute, the mask slips from the top of my nose to the tip. This problem is exacerbated by the moisture trapped from my breath.o The paper part of the mask collapses when I inhale. The better masks I've used hold themselves out of the way while breathing.I tried to return/refund this purchase, but the Amazon website says that it's not eligible for return (and offers no refund option). I wrote to the seller who, hopefully, will rectify the situation.I cannot recommend this product. I'm going back to the high-quality - and significantly cheaper - 3M brand and will just suffer with their small size.

I've had a difficult time finding a face mask that would stay in place, and cover both my nose and my mouth and chin, for any length of time. Many, including the Kimberly-Clark "duckbill" masks that are highly touted, were labeled and sold as large, but quickly worked their way down when I talked, or even with facial expressions like smiling.This is the first mask that stayed in place and provides me continuous protection.I ALSO vastly prefer the dual head bands that hold it in place. The masks with ear loops start to hurt my ears within 10-15 minutes.This mask fits well, and stays in place.For the record, I am a 77 year old white male, HWP and 6'2", and I do not have a beard.
