If it's too tight, return it. It won't loosen up.
Left foot is too tight across the top of the slipper. I thought it would loosen up, bit it didn't so I have to wear it like a mule with the back folded down.

Order up, at least one full size
I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and, since they didn't offer half sizes, I ordered a size 11. When they arrived, I saw that I had 3 options: 1) send them back, then re-order them, in a size 12, 2) use a shoe horn, to get into them or 3) crush the backs, so that they could be worn.You need to order at least one full size larger than what you wear, if you want them to fit.
