These are great, they keep friends and guest from turning switches off that need to stay on. My lights outside are dawn/dusk and now I am guaranteed they stay on. The guards are easy to install, they have magnets which connect to the light switch plate screws.

Made from good solid plastic. They work well, strong magnets but for perfect switch protection just drill/tap out the magnets and use a longer screw into the factory mounts. Never falls off and stops people accidentally switching it off.

After reading some reviews saying that they would stop inquisitive toddlers from pressing the switches and that the magnets were strong, we bought them. The prior statements turned out to be inaccurate. My 20 month old (who is big for his age) was immediately able to pull them off. They only serve to delay the inevitable or act as a distraction. If your child is persistent and/or strong, seek a different solution. 3 stars because they do fit on easily and it's not their fault I have a gorilla baby.

It was exactly what I wanted. It is perfectly clear and barely visible so I can leave it in all the time. Plus the magnet is strong enough to hold it in place, yet easy to remove, both without any tools. Take it out if the package and put it on the socket. It's that easy.
