Q: How do you change time zones?

According to the instruction manual that came with mine, 1) press and hold the 'sleep', 2) short press the 'reverse' or the 'forward'. Zone 1 is Atlantic Time, 2 is Eastern Time (which is the default setting), 3 is Central, 4 is Mountain, 5 is Pacific, 6 is Yukon and 7 is Hawaiian.

Q: does this alarm clock have to be plugged in?

Stated several times, the radio is electric with a battery backup, so yes, it has to be plugged in.

Q: Any problems charging fire tablet with usb port. Clock radio screamed started going crazy and had to unplug it and plug was extremely hot

I have had no problems and bought a second one after purchasing the first one.

Waste of time

Doesn’t deserve even one star . Sent a clock meant for USA with 2 flat pin plug and 110 v. Date in USA format ie 4th sept is 9/4/21 instead of Uk 4/9/21. Conversion would be £40/£70 and still left with USA date format .Refunded!!
