Perfect and colorful way to water your bamboo plants.
What a cute and colorful idea. I used a package of these little colorful balls and mixed them with water and they grew huge compared to their original tiny selves. I then put them in a glass jar with the lucky bamboo that I keep at my desk. These are so colorful and much more fun than the boring glass beads I was using in my plant. The best part is they hold water so if I forget to water the plant, it's okay. What a great idea and at such a great price, how could you go wrong?? The only thing I would change is that the directions are kind of difficult to understand because of the grammar problems. Other than that, it is a great product and I have already given some bags to my coworkers to enjoy as well.

Great Product!
They were delivered to my house very quickly and in good condition. I used them as a science learning experiment with my kindergartners and they loved it. I put them in a big storage container with the right amount of water. They loved checking on them every hour or two to see how big they got. They also loved feeling them to find out where the water went. They eventually grabbed a bunch of toys and played with them in there. Kept them entertained for a while. I was even caught a few times with my hand in there!

One Star
These don't really keep the flowers alive. A set of roses dies within 2 days.

Neat idea for sensory play
You get a TON of tiny balls (like the size of a sprinkle for cakes). Put them in water and they get as big as a small gumball or marble (smaller if you don't add as much water or leave them in less time). It takes a few hours for them to fill up and they keep that size for quite a while. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of is that after a few days of being full, they seemed to get black "stuff" in them (MOLD?) and would pop and turn into "gel" goo. Since we used them as sensory "toys" for kids, we ended up throwing them away after a day or so. Huge hit in the kiddie pool (as long as kids don't eat them). Shipping took forever (China?). Still, very cool.

These bags are about the size of your thumbnail
We had gotten these from another vendor. They were included as part of a science kit that came with dry sand, sea monkeys, etc. I thought it would be a great addition to a birthday gift bag, but I'm too embarassed to include them, the bags are less than 1" square. They are great fun for the kids, if you have a couple handfuls in a bowl. They are squishy and feel weird. It's fun to put your hand in and slosh them around. But I don't think all 12 packages would even make two handfuls. More would be funner.

Not as advertised
I ordered these specifically to use as party favors for my daughter's birthday. As they were advertised in description and photo as 12 individual bags of assorted colors of magic growing jelly balls, I thought they would be perfect. Rather, I got 2 very small bags with a note from the seller saying that they were trying to be environmentally friendly and had begun packaging this way, but that I had received the same amount of product. Unfortunately, these did not work at all as I intended them to work and I'm very disappointed. I have no time to return them so I'll let my kids play with them another time. But now I"m stuck running around trying to find jelly balls individually packaged locally or buying a large bag and packaging individually myself.

Bang for your buck
These have provided hours of entertainment for my son. I let the contents of a package of them sit in water for about 4 hours and then they were ready to go! Don't over hydrate them though. I made that mistake and let them sit overnight and they became too soft and broke apart when handled. I'd say they're about the size of a pony bead when hydrated and like a poppy seed before use. I've also heard you can use them to water your plants. Just hydrate them and then use in place of water in your vase. Since I've never tried it, I can't attest to the validity of those claims. Yes, the shipping takes like a month, but that's because they are coming from China. For the price, these are definitely worth it and I recommend them.

Fun!
These are really fun. I bought them for my granddaughter to play with when she visits, and we enjoyed watching them grow. They came just as pictured, in twelve individual bags, so I was able to send the rest home with her.
