Champion Copper Plus Small Engine 868 Spark Plug (Carton of 1) - RJ19LM

Had an issue with my 14 year old craftsman Briggs n Stratton lawnmower not wanting to restart after warm. I replaced the spark plug and the air filter first, it didn’t fix the issue actually it needed an ignition coil. Which I replaced last. But nonetheless the plug fit my 6.75 HP GOLD engine just fine and now it runs like new again.

I have found that the Champion brand plugs, at least in this size, perform better and last way longer than the no name brands. I get consistent one-pull starts even after the mower has been sitting unused for a few weeks. Can't say the same for the no name ones I've tried. Same for longevity, with the Champions lasting 3-4 times as long as the no names. The better performance and longevity make the Champions a much better value even though they cost a little more. It came in a Champion box. Only issue was that the plug came out of the box in transit, but no apparent damage occurred. Still, a piece of tape on the box end flaps would be a good idea for more secure transit.

The spark plug quality, fit, ease of installation and value for the money met our expectations. The pressure washer worked as it should and because of the quality of these new plugs, I'm sure it'll fire right up the next time I need it. Top notch sparkplug that performed🎯👍

Made in USA. Cheap. Long lasting. Reliable. If it clogs up because you used bad or old gas in your mower, in a pinch, just pull the plug and clean the metal tips with a pocket knife or a bit of steel wool. But why bother? Keep a spare on hand. Cheap enough! Also, most mowers need a new one of these every year or 100 hours of cutting. If you use gas stabilizer and change the air filter every season or 100 hours, it will last even longer. But in a few years, all mowers will be fitted with pollution control devices (which is a good thing as mowers today put out more pollution in one mowing than your car does in a 300 mile trip!) So, if you are keeping an old mower limping along. Now or in the next few years would be a good time to get a less noisy and cleaner model. If you have just a small patch of grass, an electric with battery mower is even better. You can cut your lawn in your suit and then go to work. No noise or stink.
