The unit just works and when it doesn't, the customer support is very good. I have had a couple issues already (due to me pressing the buttons I should have not pressed in the first place) and the China-based technical support has been great, they usually reply within the next business day.One thing you should know though, the installation is not as easy as they made it look in the video and it took me 2.5 hours to install it. The hardest part was putting the computer back in the dashboard since there wasn't much space left for the cables, but this was solved by tucking the cables to the sides of the internal part of the dashboard. I also hid the antennas inside the trim just below the dashboard and it looks neat and so far works just good.There are some connectivity issues and the CarPlay app takes about 3 minutes to be ready for use, but if that's a small price I have to pay to have CarPlay in my BMW, I'm happy to do it. I hope it just keep getting better and better.

2013 BMW X1 without factory screen. Got this so we could have Navi, bluetooth and a back up camera. Great upgrade and super simple install. No cutting or drilling, everything bolts together and plugs into factory harnesses. Didn't use the provided knob w/ buttons and the system works fine. Don't love using the aux input for sound, but it works great. Added a back up camera, I got the 1080p one from the same company that made the screen. 5/10 on instalation difficulty for everything. Contacted customer support and got a response same day. Everything took about 4 hour and I didn't hurt myself. Great product. 5 star.

I just installed this thing yesterday but this is absolutely worth it. I already had bluetooth, GPS, and a rearview camera, so the install was easy. I still went with getting it professionally installed because it is a little work to run and shove the wires in. I'm surprised that even as an aftermarket, this thing is responsive and quick.It's like having a computer in the car. This unit allows you to search the internet, listen to music from USB, download apps, customize the camera, media player, radio, and instrument panel. It's touch screen as well, so you don't have to even use your idrive controller to operate it.Heck, you can even switch back to your old BMW interface.

Great product, one of the major features is its full HD screen, looks like a Samsung s tablet or iPad Air. It has a custom Android interface and has an app with wireless CarPlay or android auto. Installation was easy but you need patience around 2 to 3 hours, to take off all trim without leaving marks or Breaking anything. The custom harness makes it plug and play, the only difficult part was passing the GPS and 4g cables from the dash all the way to the glovebox (you will need small hands). No complains and CarPlay is very stable.

Got the unit for a friends 2017 X1, the process was pretty starigth forward although long (couple of hours) cables were easy to route, placen one antenna on the left dash (4g) the other next to the rear view mirror arm (GPS) the screen looks and feels amazing, still need a couple of things to be ironed out like radio when using carplay, o sharing wifi to the head unit then going back to carplay but will see how updates or config address those things.Will update the review with pics later this week but for now so far so good, really recommend the product, the diference is night and day.
