Clean,minimalist, and functional.
Bought it for my surface book 3 with my muti screen setup monitor and laptop on my desk then tv on my living in room.. No connectivity issue despite being 15ft away moving to my sofa for my tv. Build quality is good, its light to move around with ease between my desk and sofa. Came with batteries included so far i think it may last over 1 year. Keyboard types fast, feels ok, good travel on keys and is quiet. I'm sure there are better keyboards for the money but i bought it to match my surface book 3.

Had low expectations since it's made by Microsoft, but pleasantly surprised
I bought this keyboard in February, along with the matching Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse. Typically I'm not a fan of these chiclet style keyboards. I use a Ducky One 2 Mini at home and prefer that for personal use. I use this all day at work, lots of linux shell, command line work so I wanted a 10 key.I like the low profile, the build quality, battery life. Even the integrated windows buttons come in handy now and then. It's light and thin, I actually carry this back and forth to work every day. I wish they had a hardshell case for it, but right now I just toss it in a neoprene zipper case.It connects flawlessly every single morning without fail, I haven't had any ghosting or delay issues. I've changed the batteries about 3 times since February, but it does get heavy usage. It does not have a physical "off" switch so sometimes it's in my backpack and keys occasionally get bumped.Overall I'm really surprised with the quality of this keyboard, it's a great work keyboard, pair it with an MX Master or the Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse for a super comfy work setup.

Best keyboard
Excellent keyboard, on which it is very pleasant to write and code. The process of typing turns into a very pleasant procedure. I recommend. I have not changed the battery for 2 years. I use it at work.

Very Good Keyboard
I just received the keyboard a day ago. It replaced the "cheesy keyboard" included with a Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i.The keyboard complements the Microsoft Surface mouse very well.It is slim, sleek and feels good typingI like that it has the LED indicators for Caps Lock, NumLock, Scroll Lock and even Fn Lock. The LEDs are not very bright but they are bright enough to see in just about any lighting in the room.As for the lag that others mentioned I can say that it practically non existent. The only thing that makes me worry is a feeling that I received a keyboard that was returned by someone else. The box was sealed with stickers at both ends, but one end had a round sticker while the other end had a rectangular sticker. The keyboard was clean. I couldn't see the tell-tell signs of previous usage. But it was missing the little plastic tab coming out of the battery compartment which prevents the batteries from being drained in storage. When I opened up the battery compartment, instead of find Duracell AAA batteries the way I saw in some review pictures and on YouTube reviews and in the Microsoft Surface Mouse, I found 2 yellow Procell batteries. After making the Bluetooth connection Windows 10 Pro showed that the battery level in the keyboard was at 60%. The seller was Antonline.I decided to keep the keyboard for now and in case of problems I'll take advantage of the extended return period during the holidays.

Better than I expected
Take it out of the box, say "Wooooow" as you realize how light it is, remove the plastic strip separating the batteries from the connectors and you are good to go. Setup was as straightforward as could be. Thing is, though, that I tried a LOT of keyboards before I finally found some cheapy that felt right. Right before I bought this one I tried two others (gaming keyboards no less) and they all felt uncomfortable to use so for that reason this stayed in my inbox for over a year since I just wasn't sure if I wanted to take the chance on this...But I eventually did (obviously) and the buttons are soft to the touch, responsive, have a great hit response depth, they sound so soft when you press them... Everything about this keyboard is awesome... except the lack of backlight. I am going to find this especially troublesome since I work mostly at night but I guess that is what light bulbs are for, right?Ironically enough, since I am on a desktop I don't get to change my screen brightness so, even though the WIndows "What's new" tips tell me "You can now set the brightness right next to the time! You are welcome" I actually do NOT have that feature. I miss it from my Mac days but on my desktop it simply isn't there... but with this keyboard's built in keys for screen brightness adjustment I finally DO have direct access to that feature literally right at my fingertips. I can now spend all day watching that brightness bar go up and down while not actually doing anything at all to my display's brightness.... :(Literally, this KB does more than I expected :P lolAs for normal features, it does them very well and I am very happy with it. I just wish it had backlighting. It's the only thing this is lacking.
