We've been using this kit on our 2003 Grand Marquis for a couple months now and so far it handles well and rides great. Installation was pretty straight forward though if I were to have any criticism it would be that the instructions were fairly sparse so you might want to watch an install video or two on YouTube before tackling the job.

Find You Tube video for your car. Makes job much easier!
Easy job. Took me about an hour to do the conversion. I'm not a mechanic.Seems like quality parts. Car rides good. Fast shipping.Instructions in box are almost worthless. There are some excellent videos on You Tube. I found one for my exact car. Followed step by step and it worked great.

Read this before you install the kit!!!!!!!
I installed this kit on my wife's 03 Town Car and it fit great. I'm an auto tech (37 yrs) and want to add a few points of installing. Remove the rear brake calipers (let them hang) and disconnect the ABS sensors from their mounts before installing springs. Damage will occur to brake hoses and sensor wires if not done. Also, you only need to remove sway bar from axle not the forward mounts. Just tie it away from axle. When removing air line from bags just use long needle nose pliers and yank the hose out from the bags. To allow the axle to drop low enough remove the upper link from the axle and LOOSEN the front bolt of the link at the frame. It makes installing the link much easier when reassembling. Finally, to turn off system warning light, remove lower dash cover below glove box. The module is next to glove box. It has two connectors to it. One is grey, one black. On the grey connector cut the dark green/ white wire off and cut the white/violet wire too. This will cut power to the module and will shut off the warning light. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Best option if you don't want to waste money on the air suspension.
I spent around $1100 three years ago replacing the compressor on my Crown Victoria. Something went wrong with it again just this week and I wasn't about to put any more money into that black hole of a mess.I swapped out with these today, and for the price you can't beat this as an option. It took me a bit to get them in, because I had to go rent a coil spring compressor from Autozone. With my car there was no way to get them in otherwise. The ride height seems about the same, maybe a tad bit higher - hopefully after some miles on them they will settle down a little bit.All in, a great option for those looking to save some money on air suspension repairs!

Springs looked alike but one was heavy duty the other was not.
Received item and i didnt realize it but the mechanic who installed it for me showed me i receive to different coil springs. One was heavy duty the other was not, which made my car sit lower on one side

Fit my 2003 Grand Marquis perfectly
Easy to install. The hardest part was removing my rusted, original hardware. The ride is slightly firmer than the airbags, and it puts about an inch and a half of lift on the rear end.

So far so good
Works fine and for a fraction of the price of replacing the air suspension.
