Premium Quality Stainless Steel Egg White Separator

This is the BEST egg separator I have ever had! I make homemade cakes quite a bit and need to separate eggs on some recipes. Since I purchased this product I have not had 1 egg yolk drop into my egg whites.....FANTASTIC! Have tried numerous egg separators that have always let me down. Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend this product.

I was really hoping that this product would live up to all of the good reviews and not the few bad ones, but that's not how it turned out. Yes, it does look nice, and it really seems like it should do the job. But it doesn't. Knowing from the reviews that it would take time for the whites to separate from the yolks, I started the process while I was putting away the dishes to give it a few minutes. So the photo I've taken is after a few minutes of waiting. And shaking. And trying to press a spoon in the coils to try to separate them more to let the egg whites through. But that last bit of egg white wasn't going anywhere. This might not be a problem if I needed the egg whites (though it would be a little wasteful), but I need the egg yolks only. I ended up trying to use a knife to get the rest of the whites off and, when that didn't work, having to use my fingers which... EWWWWW. So this is a waste of money, though a nice idea. Back to using the egg shells. I'm not great at that method, but it works a lot better than this.

(On the basis of this negative review WS Goods refunded my purchase price without being asked. So they're a great merchant. That said, this review is still true) It's a beautiful pice of hardware but you're better off using egg shells. It takes a long time for the egg white to separate from the yolk using this tool. I bought and tried 2 other tools for separating yolks at the same time. They fared no better. This is the best made and the best looking of the non-functional lot.

Never could get it to work. Threw it out after enough tries. Too small for some other use. Almost impossible to spread out the rings enough. Nice quality construction. I just crack the eggs into a separate dish, so if I break one, it doesn't get into the rest of the whites.

Works as advertised and feels well made. Be aware that It takes several seconds for the egg white to slide through if you are using a single egg at a time.

I purchased this Stainless Steel Egg Separator exactly 1 year ago. Today it is history. Broken apart and started to rust. Not a very good product in my opinion. Next time I'll stick to the cheap plastic ones.

Worked exactly as expected. Quality built, should last a life time. Reaches across a standard bowl, shake and the white separates.

Spot welds broke. Whole thing fell apart after five years. And I don't eat egg whites every day. Better off with plastic.
