⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blazing Fast and Supremely Portable - A Must-Have SSD!
As someone who deals with massive amounts of data for my business and marketing needs, the Kingston XS2000 1TB portable SSD has been an absolute game-changer. I honestly kick myself for not buying one of these sooner!Let's start with the obvious - having a terabyte of super-fast solid state storage that fits in my pocket is immensely valuable. I can carry virtually my entire content library with me wherever I go. No more bulky external hard drives or swapping out computers to access files. It's all lightning-quick on this little drive. The read/write speeds on the XS2000 are simply phenomenal, especially when using the included USB-C cable. Transferring large video files, RAW photos, or entire project folders happens in just seconds rather than minutes. It makes my workflow so much more efficient.Another standout feature is how seamlessly the SSD works between different operating systems. I can use it interchangeably on my Mac and Windows desktop with zero compatibility issues. The plug-and-play functionality is such a time-saver.Build quality is impressive too. The sleek aluminum body gives it a premium feel while still being extremely light and portable. And despite being incredibly compact, it has survived a few accidental drops to the floor with zero data loss or damage.I could go on singing its praises, but you get the idea - the Kingston XS2000 is worth every penny for anyone who needs blazing transfer speeds and massive capacity in a truly portable SSD. It's an indispensable tool for my career that has already paid for itself many times over in time savings and reduced hassle. Don't sit on this drive, just buy it already!

Good value for size and speed of drive - solid performance
Fast, portable, ready to go. Good price for the storage and speed ($119 for 2TB@1GB per second). The color (red) happens to match one of my peripherals, which is an interesting happenstance. Light and extremely portable. This is, upon initial use, a positive experience in both product quality and shipping expeditiousness. I'll update the review if there are further details to report. Very good!

Durable and fast SSD.
One of the best options for a portable SSD. It does not need facilities and easy recognition on every computer. Very good storage space, compatible with cell phones. Excellent value for money.

Don't use included USB A to USB C adapter, mine was broken!
Beware: These come with a USB C to USB A cable, and an adapter to turn the USB A end into USB C. The drive refused to mount or get power until I removed the adapter. Very frustrating! Once my Macbook Air could see it, it was smooth sailing. Very fast, reliable, cool drive to turn my incredible M3 Air that came with a 250G drive (with 60% of it used up by MacOS) into a much more usable machine.

Nice, fast, external drive for many uses.
I bought this to mainly use as a Time Machine back-up drive for my new MacBook. I split the drive to use half for back-up and half for file storage. It works great and files transfer very quickly. It's easy and small so I can plug it in for quick use and easily remove and store it until the next use, including transferring files between computers.

Got Lucky With this One !
I have pretty beefy custom-built Gaming Rig.It has 3 - 2TB internal hard-drives (one an SSD) ,plus I have 2 USB-A, (3.2) external HDDs connected as well.I looked for another External USB-A hard drive but needed an SSD. Got very lucky with this one. It was fairly inexpensive (roughly $109 w/tax). The reason I say I 'got lucky' is b/c Kingston is a good brand plus everywhere I looked ,all the other external SSDs used USB-C connection w/o a USB-A adapter. I think most of the USB-C to USB-A adapters cost $15 and up. Which isn't that big of a deal if you're just gonna store pictures , music , movies, etc on it , but I mainly use it for installing and running video-games off it. Thing is , once you buy an external USB-C SSD , and use a USB-A adapter ,the data transfer speeds drops dramatically ( for a gamer that's a deal breaker ) but since this one already connects directly to a USB-A port ,it's a pretty darn fast external SSD.I've installed a few games on it since purchasing it and they run smooth & fast. Pretty amazing for an SSD that isn't internally connected to you motherboard. Not sure if they're still available ,but if they are ,even if you're just a casual gamer , it's a great purchase. However ,as I stated before ,if you're not a gamer , this won't matter to you much anyway.
