I got one of these to replace the existing plug on my level 2 charger and it was perfect. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. All I had to do was cut off the ring at the end of the wires and wrap up the neutral wire with electrical tape.

This pigtail cable was well made! Better than the one that I was replacing.

There is no green insulated wire. one wire has no insulation at all.

I used this to wire my wall mount Tesla charger as a plug in instead of hard-wiring. It's been 8 months and absolutely no issues.

I recently ordered a set of these cables for use for charging equipment with a vehicle. Luckily I did not need the ringlets and intending on cutting them off. Had I received the product with the intent on using the pre-installed ringlets I would have been very upset. The cables work as intended without issue and allow the vehicle to charge at the maximum 32amps. The poor quality control on the insulation however defers me from recommend these cables to anyone else.

Where’s the green wire housing???
