I don't know the actual number. I have my full size Sewing Machine in it...total weight with machine, foot pedal, some accessories... is 22 lbs.

Q: where is this made in/manufactured?

I'm not sure where it is made, but the bag is very sturdy, roomy and well made. I ordered the lilac/lavender color and it is a beautiful color. The construction is solid and makes it easy to transport my machine.

yes, the handle pops up just like rolling luggage
