24-pack flap discs

I recently tried the SHALL 24-Pack Flap Discs for some metalworking projects, and I’m really impressed with their performance. These discs are versatile, with a variety of grits that make them suitable for different stages of grinding and sanding. What I particularly like is how well they fit my angle grinder and how smoothly they run. The etched grit number is a nice touch, making it easy to grab the right disc quickly. Using the 40-grit T27 for initial rough grinding, I found it removed material efficiently without wearing out too quickly. The finer grits, like the 80 and 120, worked great for smoothing out surfaces and getting a nice finish. During use, they held up well, even under continuous operation. They didn’t wear down as fast as some other brands I’ve tried, which speaks to their durability. The variety pack is convenient because it covers a range of needs, from aggressive grinding to finer polishing. One minor downside is that they produce a fair amount of dust, but that's expected with any grinding or sanding tool. Proper safety gear and ventilation help mitigate this issue. These discs have become a staple in my DIY toolkit for their reliability and effectiveness. They're perfect for anyone tackling a range of metalworking tasks.

Bought a Bosch GWS8-45 4-1/2 In. Angle Grinder grinder initially to just sharpen a lawnmower blade. I added these because, new tool right? You get a new tool, and things just come up to use it for (kind of like getting a truck). So, it sharpened the lawnmower blades perfectly, and also I had to cut some steal window guides for a crank out window - worked perfectly. There are so many of these things in this, that this is most likely a life time supply for me, but if I ever run out, I would def get these same ones.

Awesome , work just as good as other name brands , and just cost a dollar each . Last plenty long , one 80 grit pad shaped down a 3.5" x 36" southern red oak board , and is still good.

Bought these for my metal art work. It was a great deal for the money. Just one Diablo wheel at HD was a third of the price of this entire set. They work well. They don’t last quite as long as the higher priced ones but who cares when you get so many of them. They shined up the steel well and absolutely laid waste to any paint or other material on the steel I was working with.
