Brilliant,works just great

These are a decent retrofit ventilation attachment for any backpacks and worked pretty well when testing. They do add a little bulk and you will have to put on the backpack slightly differently, but I definitely see the benefit on warm days especially if there's a slight breeze.

You never know if these new things will do as they say but this time it did! Easy to fit to my Osprey running backpack and the gap is there for all to see. It's a little fiddly to put the bag on but after a couple of uses you fit it as quickly as before. Without doubt this mesh held frame holds the bag away assisting your back to stay much cooler than with a bag stuck to it. The weight too shifts to your hips and away from your shoulders which is a great thing as you should take the weight this way. Very pleased with this newish item that really does what it claimed to do. Brilliant.

I find this handy for the trecks , its comfy.

A good inventive way of ensuring ventilation for those of us who get hot and bothered in the summer.

Wanted a spacer for my camera backpack and this is the only one I could find. Thought I would have to send it back but had to get creative to make it fit. Not designed for rear opening bag but in the end got it to fit and am pleased. Needed the spacer as back got sweaty.

As lots of others have mentioned, the frame will more than likely snap. Mine did! The result is that the mesh looses all structure and therefore does not serve its purpose of keeping your pack off your back. I have tried to mend the frame by strengthening the weak point but have had no luck. Real shame as theoretically its a brilliant product but in its current design, it is an expensive waste of money. If you have a very lite pack load and are insanely careful you might be alright but buyers beware.

Although the Ventapak is light and performs its function, the materials used in its construction do no feel robust. This is evidenced by the fact one of the clips snapped on its second use when carrying a small backpack containing a laptop.

I have been looking for this product for ages - everywhere in the whole entire world but couldn't find it - until when I by accident found it here on Amazon (the US site)! That was the BEST decision of my life! VentaPak is just so unique and functional that it is worth every single dollar you are paying for this product! Remember that you have only one back and you don't want to destroy your back with bad posture cause fixing your back when it is already broken is super difficult to cure, that it's actually better to prevent it from happening from the first place. And who wants to walk around with sweaty sticky back on the same time? Noone! Does this product live up to the hype? Hell yeah, it definitely does! On the contrary, I'm actually positively shocked over the result. Even had to order it from other side of the world with customs and import etc... but still worth it. Wish that this product is coming to Europe. Maybe eventually? The whole entire frame is that sturdy and stable that it could even handle my HUUGE back with full of loads without any problems. Not even a single bend or any breakage at all. This thing is made to sustain huge amount of load, I'm sure I can use this for years without a hiccup. Is it comfortable to use? Oh yes! It feels so much better to use this one than without, that much I can tell you! The shape and forms were perfect and it fits all the rucksacks I have tried so far. I paired with all from street rucksacks to hiking rucksacks to hydration packs, everything fits due to the simplicity of the attachment device. Is it lightweight? Very much! Any cons so far? Well, unless you need to fold your rucksacks to save space, then I don't see any reasons why you shouldn't buy this ventilation and good-posture-for-your-back product! I just wish I knew about this product earlier or it was produced earlier cause so many years I have been suffering with both bad back posture and sweaty backs that much that I sometimes hated to wear rucksacks altogether but this VentPak product is a GAME CHANGER! That's for sure! And another very positive thing about this product is that the seller and producer to this one was very keen on helping me with answering questions and giving me advice, assisting etc. Seems like they really care about this product and how to develop it to become better and better. That is something I very rarely see in other companies. So thumbs up for this great service! In conclusion, TL;DR: A must buy product and totally recommended! That good product that I actually want to buy one more extra for my fiancee as well.

Great item, works as intended creating airflow between back and rucksack. Also had an unintended feature I wasn't aware of to distribute contents evenly over back making load more comfortable to haul. Only down side would be that it takes a little longer to put on assembled rucksack due to the tightened straps.

Works well and can be adapted to several constructions. I am using it everyday! It does change the way the straps go on your shoulder, so may feel different the first few days. Great product, thanks for making this!
