Q: I want to use these as table toppers and am wondering how many orders to buy to fill about 10 long tables. Any suggestions?

They are not very big but there are about 100 per bag. I would suggest 1 bag per table. They shipping is quick so you might have time to order more.

Q: I was going to use these on a cake. I'm debating that now because they're metal & I don't want to get anyone sick. Are these safe for that?

Or wash them in clorox. It should, in theory, be just like silverware. But you would want to make sure no one ate them, especially kids, but that would be true about plastic also. I don't sick is the problem. Unless something in the frosting is corrosive. The metal cleans as well as plastic. Maybe stake them down so they are so noticeable that someone doesn't eat them.

I would think they can be. They are metal.

They are stamped front and back indentically.
