This is an excellent reference on the Whitney Revolver. It is very well written and the photographs are of the highest quality. It's a very enjoyable read and the information is a must for the Whitney Revolver owner.I recommend this book for anyone interested in this revolver or civil war weaponry in general.

A first rate work detailing this lesser known revolver. Having lived in the shadow of Colt and Remington this first class revolver has had little previously written about it. This comprehensive work goes a long way to redress the balance. Drawing on data from around the world the author has produced an excellent work of reference which can be enjoyed by scholars and casual students alike. A well written and prodcued work.

I have been waiting a long time for someone to write a book on the whitney revolver. Many of my questions were answered.I hope there will be a follow up in the near future. The quality was excellent and shipping very fast.
