great option for ambient lighting it’s bright, flexible, and feels like good quality overall. The adhesive sticks well. It works well with Alexa for voice control, and the Govee app gives you a lot of customization options. the colors aren’t always super accurate but you can adjust them manually in the app to get pretty close to what you want. If you don't care about perfect color accuracy, it’s a good smart LED strip for the price.

I have them now for over 6 months. They are best strip lights i will say. App is brilliant, you can change the colour and brightness instantly. It has so many colour and style options. Definitely recommend it

These lights are great. Govee is my new favourite smart home tech brand. These lights are bright, easy to set up and use with the app and you can change themes to make them all sorts of different colours. 5m length worked really well as under kitchen counter lights. They have lasted really well, and look great. I’ve fitted them with a sensor so now I don’t even need to turn them on, they connect with the app and sensor perfectly and come on every time. Definitely buy from Govee again!!

All in all i was very impressed with these lights, as can be seen from the image they are very bright and do exactly what I had hoped they would. A few positive points, the app is easy to install and understand, connecting to the lights was very simple and setup was straightforward and the lights themselves are very good. Pairing with Alexa to remotely control via voice was also very easy and now i can turn them on from anywhere. The final star was lost for a few reasons. 1) The control unit is hard wired in to the light strip circuit. This means that if, like me, you need install these outside but power them from inside you have to thread the the whole strip though the wall unless your hole is big enough to get the control unit through. 2) While the lightstrip has contact adhesive backing which I'm sure is very good, for some unknown reason the front side of the light strip is also very sticky, possibly from being wound on a reel. I made the mistake of putting the strip down on a table with a load of paper on it and found that the light strip got well and truly stuck to the paper such that it was tearing as i was trying to remove it. Those issues aside though I would recommend this product but just take note of the above and avoid my mistakes.

These lights are awesome, they connect to WIFI well and the quality of the lights is good and they are quite flexible if your going around a corner and they are easy to fit. I used pins (careful not to pierce the lights) in certain areas to keep them in place on corners, couldn't use the little sticky plastic supports provided because I was putting it on my coving not the wall. I have them going around the coving in my living room and they look like they have been professionally fitted into the wall when switched on, I also have the light bars and TV backlight and they work wonderfully together on the govee app. All these govee lights seem to have the little remote control thing on them which is ok but I just use the app. I use them as Christmas lights in the day and use it for movies in the night, you can even use them as Halloween lights so they have many uses.

I have invested in Philips Hue around the house, but following a refurb in my PC / Office room I decided to replace the rubbish cheap led strip lights around my desk with some Govee. Reading reviews they seem to be a respected and value for money option. I have installed these going around the sides and back of my black L shaped desk, and they went on very easily, stuck first time and felt a decent quality strip. I have managed to get these around my entire desk and the remaining length underneath some of the front, so it lights up the front of my record collection under the desk. So, plenty long enough. Gives a lovely relaxing classy ambience which is what I am after, not flashing tacky lights. Have to say, I am very impressed with these. I am glad I went for the RBIC version as you get beautiful mixtures of colours around the strip. Much classier than single colours. I haven't began to properly explore the app yet, but looks extensive and supported by the community too. Have set up some automation in the app, but couldn't see a way to get them to come on at sunrise / sunset, just a set time. Not sure if that is an option yet. Overall, very impressed with these

great value for money and great connectivity to the Govee app and Alexa app the light quality is great defintly worth going for Govee

After about 10 years the Leds I had running up my stairs (static colour) running for 15 hours a day they started losing colour and the controller started noticeably buzzing so it was time to replace the. And I'm happy to say these are perfect. note they are in diffusers so they look extra clean in the video but they look excellent, capable of good brightness and the animations are quite good & alot of customisation with a range from painfully slow right up to warp 10 seizure mode so you'll certainly be able to tailor things to your desires, there's alot of bang for the buck here compared to other brands happily charge an extra £100+ with half the functionality and length. Also worth noting despite officially not being able to cut them, I was able to snip a segment (Important: cut on the visible copper line at the rear of strip. ) off the end with no issues outside of the app still thinking the lights are still there which has made no difference to how they work just means if I try changing the end segment It isn't the end of what's actually there.
